NOTIFICATION for POST-GRADUATE ADMISSION
Subjects : Geography

Applications in prescribed form obtainable from the Sales Counter of the University (not by post) on payment of Rs.100/- in cash, are invited for admission to P.G. Course of study (M.Sc./M.A.), Session: 2012-2014 in the subject of Geography.

Application Fee : Rs.100/-

Eligibility :
i) For admission to the subject, graduates doing Honours/ Spl. Honours in Geography of the three years of the degree new course are only eligible to apply
ii) Candidates awaiting results of B.A./B.Sc 3rd year examination can collect forms on production of mark sheet of B.A./B.Sc 2nd year examination. But the filled-in forms will have to be submitted alongwith the marksheet of B.A./B.Sc final examination only.

Application Form :
i) Forms may be had between 11-00 a.m. and 1-30 p.m. on all working days from 09.07.2012 to 27.07.2012.
ii) Forms may also be downloaded from the University website

Last Date : Last date of submission of filled-in forms is 27th July, 2012.

Necessary Fees For Admission :
For admission in M.A./M.Sc in Geography at the University Department, candidates are to submit a total amount of Rs745/- only for admission. Information regarding the fees required for admission in Geography at the respective undergraduate colleges may be had from the authorities of the colleges concerned.

Commencement Of Classes :
Classes for P.G. Course of studies are likely to commence from 17.08.2012.

Publication Of Short Lists And Admission Of Candidates .
a) The short-lists of candidates will be published at the office of the undersigned on 14.08.2012 (Tuesday) at 3 p.m. Candidates are to see for themselves their positions in the short lists. Information in this regard may also be had from the University website. No communication will, however, be made in this respect through post.
b) On the day of admission, candidates (or their authorised representatives) must have to report before a Counselling Board at Rajbati with original copies of relevant credentials and necessary fees of admission on the date(s) and time specified below.
