Applications are invited from the eligible Male Sports persons for Gr.D category against Sports Quota in prescribed format given in this Employment Notice for the Year 2011-12 for Kanchrapara Workshop.

Details of Sports Recruitment :
i) Category of post - Group D
ii) Scale of Pay A) - Pay Band-1 Rs.5200-20200/-with Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
B) - Is Rs.4440-7440/- (not carry any Grade Pay)

Sports Discipline - 02 Men
i) Athletics – 01(Men) 800-1500 meters category
ii) Kabaddi - 01 (Men) All rounder

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : Candidates should have passed minimum Educational Qualification of Class-10th pass or ITI or equivalent. Sports person having outstanding sports achievements and who are only Class-Vlll pass can be considered for Recruitment in - Is Pay Band Rs.4440-7440/- and shall not carry any Grade Pay in respect of future recruits.

AGE : The age will be reckoned as on 01.01.2012. The candidates should not less than 18 years of age and not more than 25 years

Cross Indian Postal Order of Rs.40/- drawn in favour of FA & CAO Eastern Railway, Kolkata payable at GPO/Kolkata should be attached with the application form. SC/ST,-EX-Serviceman, Physically handicapped person & Minority candidates (Muslim,Christians,Sikhs,Buddhists ,Zorastrians [Parsis] ) and candidates belonging to Economically back ward classes ( whose family income is less than Rs.50 thousand per annum) need not pay this fee.

Envelope containing the application should be super scribed as “APPLICATION FOR APPOINTMENT IN GROUP-D AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA FOR 2011-12”.
