Scale of Pay : Rs.8000 - 13500/-(Pre-revised)
Age : Not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2012.
Qualifications :
i) Good Academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade at Masters Degree level in the relevent subject from an Indian University or an equivalent Degree from a Foreign University.
ii) Candidates besides fulfilling the above qualifications should have cleared the eligibiliy test for Lectureship conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC.
iii) However, the candidates who have Ph.D Degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET qualifications.

Registration Fee : Rs. 250/-(Rs. 62.50 for SC/ST)

Scale of Pay : Rs.12000 - 18300/-(Pre-revised)
Age : Not more than 45 years as on 01.01.2012
Qualifications :
i) Good academic record with a doctoral degree or equivalent published work. Candidates from outside the University System in addition shall also possess at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade at the Masters Degree Level. Eight years experience of teaching and / or research including upto 3 years for research degrees and has made some mark in the areas of scholarship as evidenced by quality of publications, contribution to educational renovation, design of new courses and curricula.
ii) Candidates from outside the University system means candidates working in institutions other than colleges and Universities, deemed Universities and institutions which are imparting education beyond +12 schooling.

Registration Fee : Rs. 400/- (Rs. 100/-for SC/ST)

Scale of Pay : Rs.16400 - 22400/-(Pre-revised)
Age : Not more than 50 years as on 01.01.2012
Qualifications :An eminent Scholar with published work of high quality actively engaged in research with 10 years of experience in post graduate teaching and /or research at University/National Level Institutions, including experience of guiding research at doctoral level;OR An outstanding Scholar with established reputation who has made significant contribution to knowledge.
Cost of Application form : Rs. 350/-
Registration Fee : Rs. 500/- (Rs. 125/- for SC/ST)

Cost of application form and Registration fee be remitted by DD drawn on State Bank of Travancore / District Co-operative Bank, in favour of “The Finance Officer, University of Kerala” payable at State Bank of Travancore Service Branch, Thiruvananthapuram and State Co-operative Bank, Head Office Branch, Thiruvananthapuram respectively.

Where can I pay the fee?

Cost of application form and Registration fee be remitted by DD drawn on State Bank of Travancore / District Co-operative Bank, in favour of “The Finance Officer, University of Kerala” payable at State Bank of Travancore Service Branch, Thiruvananthapuram and State Co-operative Bank, Head Office Branch, Thiruvananthapuram respectively.
For all the remittances made by DD, an amount of Rs. 10/- should be remitted in addition.
Postal Orders, Money Orders, Cheques and DDs from other Banks and DD drawn on Kariavattom Branch will not be accepted.
Candidates residing outside the state may however send DDs drawn on State Bank of India in favour of “The Finance Officer, University of Kerala” payable at State Bank of India, Main Branch, Thiruvananthapuram.
Remittance towards the cost of application forms and Registration fee will also be accepted in cash by chalan at the Kerala University Cash Counter, University Buildings, Thiruvananthapuram and also at the Friends Counters (Jana Sevana Kendram) at Palayam.
