RECRUITMENT IN (i) CATEGORY (1) : No. of posts – 3 (Three)
Grade/Scale of Pay : PB-I, Pay Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/2800/-
(ii) CATEGORY (2) No. of posts – 9 (Nine)
Grade/Scale of Pay : PB-I, Pay Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1900/2000/-
Educational Qualifications : Category (1) minimum Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent, Category (2) Minimum pass in Matriculation or its equivalent.
Age : minimum18 years and maximum 25 years (as on 01.07.2012).

RECRUITMENT IN CATEGORY (3) : No. of posts : 4(Four).
Grade/Scale of Pay : PB-I, Pay Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-
Educational Qualification : 10th Pass or ITI or its equivalent
Age : minimum18 years and maximum 25 years (as on 01.07.2012).

(i) Indian Postal Order should be sent in favour of “FA & CAO/EASTERN RAILWAY” which is not refundable.
(ii) Two self-addressed envelopes (11” X 5”) duly stamped (Rs. 5/-) should be sent with the application.
(iii) Last date of receipt of application is 28.02.2012(4 p.m)
(iv) Application as per the format given below should be sent in a closed envelope superscripted ‘APPLICATION FOR SPORTS QUOTA RECRUITMENT’ by ordinary post or to be dropped in the box placed at ground floor in front of the Eastern Railway Sports Association’s Office at the address mentioned in the format.
(v) All copies of certificates submitted along with the application should be duly attested by a gazetted officer.

I am an opening medium pace bowler with excellent pace and good control.
I found myself as a middle order bat and opening bowler. Since then I have managed to post a number of high 50’s when given the opportunity with the bat and on a number of occasion taken 5 wickets’ or more in an innings as an opening bowlers. I am considered as one of the quickest bowlers in the competition.
To me cricket is a way of life and one in which I gain great pleasure.
