Krishnapatnam Railway Company Limited (KRCL) is a Joint Venture Company of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, Krishnapatnam Port Company Limited, Government of Andhra Pradesh, National Mineral Development Corporation Limited and Bramhani Industries Limited. KRCL is looking for a suitable incumbent for the post of Managing Director. The position entails strong people management, coordination skills and optimizing use of resources. The incumbent should have a record of demonstrated leadership, strategic and creative thinking in risk mitigation and achieving financial goals.

Qualifications and Experience :
Graduate in any discipline with total experience of the candidate should be at least 20 (Twenty) years in Railways of which at least 7 (Seven) years must be in a Senior Management Level /Senior Administrative Grade. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in managing the affairs of SPVs/ Companies/JVs on PPP mode concerned with the following functions in Railway i.e. Railway Planning and Construction, Financing, Marketing and Commercial, and Operation & Maintenance.

Age : not more than 57 years (as on 1st July 2012)

Salary : The remuneration (Salary, allowances and perquisites) of the MD will be same as that of a Director of Schedule ‘A’ Company.

The appointment of MD will be made on the basis of permanent absorption of the candidate .A candidate shall be considered suitable after interview of all eligible candidates appearing on the date of interview. The eligible candidates will be intimated the date & venue of interview by post/email. The office of the MD would be located at Regd. Office of the Company at Hyderabad.

The candidate has to submit his willingness for the post at the time of interview itself, clearly stating that he/she will join the post, if selected. If any candidate does not initially give his/ her willingness, he /she will not be interviewed. The selected candidate will have to join within 3(Three) months of issue of letter of appointment. Serving officer shall submit NOC of employer at the time of interview.

Applicants along with detailed bio-data (with passport size photograph, age, qualifications, experience, salaries drawn and achievements) may reach the Company Secretary/KRCL latest by 11th May, 2012. This supersedes the notification issued in June 2007 for selection of MD for KRCL, the selection process for which is hereby cancelled.
