Applications are invited for Ph. D. Admissions (Regular/Sponsored/Part time categories) for the Academic Session 2012-13 in Department/Centre of Applied Geology, Architecture, Bio-Technology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Applications, Electrical Engineering, Humanities & Social Sciences, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering & Physics with specialization and area as mentioned in the Institute website;

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :
1 Ph.D. degree in Engineering/ Technology : M.E./M.Tech. Degree in Engineering/Technology with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA/CPI.
2. Ph.D. Degree in Architecture (and allied areas i.e. Design, Planning, etc.);Master’s degree in Architecture/Design/ Planning or its equivalent with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA/CPI.
3. Ph.D. degree in Computer Applications, Mathematics, Basic Sciences, Humanities,
Business Administration/Management and Social Sciences;Master’s degree in Engineering/Computer Applications/ Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/Statistics/ Art/Humanities (English language teaching)/Business Administration/Management and Social Sciences or M. Phil degree with first class or minimum 60% marks (CGPA 6.5) or equivalent. The award of scholarship/felloship/assistantship shall be governed by circular notification issued by Central Govern ment/MHRD from time to time.

ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY :
** A candidate should apply for full/part-time candidate on the prescribed form on or before due date fixed for the same.
** There is no age limit for the applicant.

Application Fee :
Rs. 200/- for General and OBC category applicants. For SC/ST/PH candidates fee will be Rs. 100/- only.
