A Degree in Arts or Science or Commerce of any University or Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grant.
or B.O.L. of Annamalai University
or B.B.A. of Madurai-Kamaraj University.
or B. Litt. of Madras University
or B.B.M.or B.Litt. of Bharathiar University.

Single Paper :
General Knowledge (Degree Standard) (100 items) and General Tamil / General English (S.S.L.C. Standard) (100 items)

Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e.,
(i) Written Examination
(ii) Oral Test.

EXAMINATION FEE :
Examination fee Rs.150/- (i.e. Cost of Application Rs.50/- + Examination fee Rs. 100/-) (Rupees one hundred and thirty only).
