Applications are invited from the eligible Male Sports Persons in the given Format for recruitment of 02 Sports Persons for Liluah Workshop in the discipline mentioned below in PB-I Rs. 5200-20200/- with GP Rs. 1800/- (erstwhile Gr.’D’ post ) against Sports Quota open advertisement for the year 2012-13.

Minimum Educational qualification. : Matriculation or ITI or equivalent

Sports Discipline :
(i) Football (Male ) – STOPPER BACK
(ii) Football (Male ) – MIDDLE HALF

Minimum Sports norms / achievement / qualification :
The minimum sports norms for recruitment of sports persons in PB-1, Rs. 5000-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- for both team and individual events are as under ;
i) Sports person concerned should have represented the country in any of the Championships/events, which are as under ;
(a) Commonwealth Championships. ( Junior / Senior category )
(b) Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior /Senior category)
(c) South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior category)
(d) USIC ( World Railways ) Championships ( Senior category )
(ii) Should obtain at least 3rd position in Federation Cup Championships ( Senior Category ) OR
(iii) Represented a State of equivalent unit, except in marathon and Cross Country, in Sen ior/ Youth/Junior National Championships. OR
(iv) Should obtain at least 3rd position in senior State Championships for all units & Districts of the State.

Fee :
Processing fee in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order of Rs. 40/- drawn in favour of FA & CAO , E.Rly./Kolkata payable at GPO/Kolkata should be attached by UR & OBC candidate with the application forms. Candidate should mention their name and address on the Indian Postal Order.

Mode of Recruitment :
1. The selection of candidate will be done by the competent recruitment committee and trial committee through TIRIALS AND INTERVIEW.
2. The candidates declared fit / suitable in TRIALS shall only be considered for the interview stage by Recruitment committee.

Medical Examination :
The candidate will require to be declared medically fit by Rly. Medical authority in the medical category prescribed for the post, prior to appointment after due selection.

A. By Post : The application can be sent by ordinary post only. No application will be received if it is sent by Registered Post or by Courier service.

B. By Dropping in Box. : Application can be dropped in the Box kept at Welfare Section of C & W workshop , Eastern Railway, Liluah from one day after the date of publication of notification to 08.01.2013 ( except Sundays and holidays ) from 10.00 hrs. to 16.00 hrs. The box will be available up to 13.00 hrs. on Saturdays.
