Notice for walk-in-interview for engaging the post of Medical Officer (Specialist) against existing vacancies purely on contractual basis, the details of which is furnished below

Terms of Engagement : Purely on contractual basis for a period of 01 (one) year with effect from the date of joining the post

Eligibility for application :
i) The applicant must be a citizen of India and should be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
ii) The age of the applicant at the time of engagement shall not exceed 65 years.
iii) The applicant must be a Post Graduate.
iv) The applicant have to produce the original certificates of qualification, age proof, residential certificates, medical fitness certificates and any other documents needed which is decided by the board during the time of interview.

Procedure of selection : The preparation of merit list will be prepared as per the following procedure. Out of total 100 marks, 90 marks will be kept for academic records, professional experience, publication and 10 marks for interview.
For MBBS: 50 (fifty) : 05 (five) points will be deducted against every failure in a subject.
For Post-Graduate Degree / Diploma: 05 (five): 01 (one) point will be deducted against failure in each paper.
For Post-Doctoral Degree: 10 (ten): 01 (one) point will be deducted against failure in each paper.
For Ph D: 05(five): 01 (one) point will be deducted against each attempt of failure.
For experience: 10 (ten): (1 year experience: 02, 2 years’ experience: 04, 3 years’ experience; 06, 4 years’ experience: 08, 05 years’ experience: 10).
For Publication: 10 (ten)
One original article in an indexed journal will acquire 06 (six) points.
One short communication in an indexed journal will acquire 04 (four) points.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Constable in Kolkata Police in the prescribed form;

Minimum Educational Qualification: The applicant must have passed Madhyamik Examination under W.B.B.S.E or equivalent.

Eligibility : Sportsman who have represented in a State or National or International level competition, Inter- University Tournaments (Conducted by The Inter-University Sports Board) and National Sports/Games for Schools (Conducted by the All India School Games Federation) in the following sports and games;

(3) Minimum Weight : 55 Kg.

Training: - Provisionally appointed candidates will have to undergo Training. After successful completion of the training, final appointment will be given.

Examination fee : Rs 150 /-
Postal Order in favour of “Kolkata Police Recruitment Board” payable in Kolkata.
The original Postal Order(s) shall have to be enclosed with the printed copy of the filled up and saved Application Form when submitting on the day of PMT & PET.

How to Apply :
i) On Line ‘Application Form’ is available in the Kolkata Police Recruitment Board website which shall be filled up and saved online.

ii) The filled up and saved online application form shall have to be printed (Print option is shown on the screen) and submitted along with the required testimonials at the KPRB Counter when called for PMT & PET.

iii) The following documents shall have to be attached with the printed copy of the filled up Application Form;
(a) Original Postal Order/Demand Draft (Except for Scheduled Tribe & Scheduled Caste candidates)
(b) One Copy of recent passport size (3.5cm x 3.5cm), self attested photograph to be pasted on the print copy of the filled up and saved Application Form on the right top box.
(c) Attested copy the certificates of educational qualification.
(d) Attested copy of the Admit Card of Madhyamik/Equivalent Examination as proof of age.
(e) Attested copy of the Certificate of proficiency in sports & games. (For detail information about such certificate and for the format of the certificate please see ANNXURE-A)
(f) Attested copy of SC/ST/OBC Certificate issued by appropriate authority (for reserve categories only)
