For Temporary Appointment on the ICAR Sponsored Project on “Assessment of Harvest and Post Harvest Losses of Major Crops and Commodities in India” (ICAR - MoFPI Project) Qualified candidates for below mentioned posts are invited for Walk-In-Interview along with the information in the given prescribed format “Appendix-A” at Bombay Veterinary College, Parel, Mumbai-400 012 on 19.10.2012 at 11.00 am.

Qualification Essential : Minimum qualification for Field Investigator is to be intermediate (+2). Desirable qualification for the Field Investigator is Diploma holder in Agriculture or a Graduate. Experience in agriculture/ survey work will be preferred.

Nature Of work :
1) Complete enumeration of all households in the selected 5 villages in a Block /Mandal / Taluka in the prescribed schedule in the first phase.
2) Collection of harvest and post harvest loss data through enquiry and by observation in the second phase in the prescribed appropriate schedule for the specific crops/commodities assigned.
3) Any other related tasks deemed necessary for the survey by the Principal Investigator.
The selected candidate has to work at Dindori & Niphad Tahsil of Nasik districts and, Karad & Satara Tahsil of Satara districts.
