Recruitment of UB Sub-Inspectors 2012

Application in the prescribed Standard Form of Application as published in the Meghalaya gazette are invited from candidates both male and female who are permanent residents of Meghalaya and citizens of India to fill up vacancies in the Unarmed Branch Sub-Inspector of Police (UBSI) in the scale of pay of Rs. 14100-350-16550-EB-460-620-27510 P.M. plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules from time to time as follows: -

THE LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATION IS 20TH FEBRUARY, 2012 (AT POLICE TRAINING SCHOOL, GOLFLINKS, SHILLONG).

APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AFTER THE LAST DATE WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED.

ONLY ONE APPLICATION PER CANDIDATE WILL BE ALLOWED.

INCOMPLETE AND/OR DEFECTIVE APPLICATIONS WILL BE REJECTED SUMMARILY.

CANDIDATES WHOSE APPLICATION FORMS ARE REJECTED WILL HAVE TO SIGN IN THE APPLICATION FORM REJECTION REGISTER AND THEIR APPLICATION FORMS WILL BE KEPT BY THE PRINCIPAL, PTS.

The application form should be submitted along with attested copies of the following :
1. 4 (four) recent passport size photographs.
2. S.T./ S.C. Certificate – for S.T./ S.C. candidates as applicable.
3. Age certificate as per HSLC/SSLC Certificates/Admit Cards or their equivalent certificate testifying the date of birth/age.
4. Educational Qualification certificates.
5. Additional qualification, if any.

Age : A candidate should not be less than 20 years and not more than 27 years as on 01.01.2012 with usual relaxation of 5 (five) years in case of candidates belonging to the SC/ST.

Education Qualification : Minimum educational qualification required is a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized University.

The result of the written test will be published on the 27th March 2012 and all candidates are advised to check the results on the notice boards of PTS/ District SPs Police Reserve Office/COs Battalions Office and on the Meghalaya Police website. Candidates who have qualified in the written tests will be required to attend the interviews which will be commence from the 2nd April 2012 onwards. No separate intimation regardinginterviews will be sent. It shall be the responsibility of the candidate(s) to check the results and appear for the interview at PTS,Golf Links, Shillong on the dates as notified.
