Applications are invited for the following positions purely on contract basis at the Indian Sign Language Research & Training Centre located in the main Campus of the Indira Gandhi National Open University at Maidan Garhi, New Delhi 110 068.

Name of the post : Interpreter
No. of Post : 01
Age limit : maximum 60 years
Remuneration : Rs. 22,500/- p.m.
Duration : on Contractual basis initially for 06 months.
Essential Qualification :
1. Graduation from a recognized university
2. Minimum ‘B’ Level diploma in interpreting from RCI accredited institutions or documented attendance other interpreter training programmes.
3. At least 02 Years of interpreting experience in a variety of settings.
Desirable Qualification :
1. Experience working in a school for the deaf or an NGO with focus on deafness related areas.
2. Should have had at least 03 Years of close contact with deaf & should have interpreted in National and International Conferences. (with certificate of references).
3. Children of Deaf Adults (CODA) and/ or Sibling of Deaf Adults (SODA) will be given preference.

2. Name of the Post : Language Support Officer

Age limit : 60 years
Remuneration : Rs. 22,500/- p.m
Duration : on Contractual basis initially for 06 months.
Essential qualifications :
1. Graduation Degree from recognized University
2. ‘B’ level certificate in Indian Sign Language or documented attendance in other sign language programmes.
3. Having formal or informal experience in sign language interpreting.
Desirable Qualification :
1. Should possess excellent skills to communicate in English in a university level environment.
2. Should be a good team player and work comfortably in a sign language environment.

3. Name of the post : SPA
No. of Post : 01
Remuneration Range : Rs. 15,000 – 22,500 p.m.
Age limit : maximum 60 years
Duration : on Contractual basis initially for 06 months.
Essential Qualification :
1. Graduation from a recognized university
2. At least 8 years of experience as Personal Assistant in reputed institutions/ organizations.
3. Minimum typing speed is 75 w.p.m. , ability to take dictation through shorthand , excellent communication skills in English, good interpersonal & social skills.
Desirable Qualification :
1. One year diploma in Computers.

4. Name of the post : Accountant
No. of Vacancies : 01
Remuneration Range : Rs. 15,000 – 22,500 p.m.
Age limit : maximum 60 years
Duration : on Contractual basis initially for 06 months.
Essential Qualification :
1. Graduation from a recognized university preferably B.Com
2. At least 3 years of experience as in reputed institutions/ organizations.
3. Excellent knowledge of handling accounts, finances, creation of budgets, settling adjustments, etc
Desirable Qualification :
1. One year diploma in Computers.
2. Should have working knowledge of Tally
