MS Forensic Pharmacy- Admission 2012

The intake capacity for MS Forensic Pharmacy (with Five specializations) is 25 (19 + 6 NRI)

Duration of course : 4 semesters (2 years)

Eligibility and Admission Criteria :
A student seeking admission to the MS Forensic Pharmacy Program must fulfill the following criteria;
B.Pharm Degree with minimum 55% marks, preference will be given to GATE/GPAT Qualified candidates.

Fee :
The web-downloaded form must be accompanied by a Demand Draft for Rs. 1000/- (non-refundable) in favour of “The Registrar, Gujarat Forensic Sciences University” payable at Gandhinagar. Applicant should write his complete name on the backside of the Demand Draft.

Selection Procedure :
Admissions will be purely on the merit obtained in the Entrance Test conducted by the Gujarat Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar.

Entrance Test :
The Entrance test will be of 100 marks with one and half hours duration based on multiple choice questions.
Syllabus : B. Pharm syllabus and general knowledge.
Examination seat number : It will be informed by email.

NRI Seats :
Six seats will be offered through a separate channel called ‘direct admission of Foreign and NRI students’ to Non Resident Indians, Foreign Nationals and Persons of Indian Origin. (In case, such candidates are not available, the vacant seats will be allotted to the candidates coming through entrance test who are willing to pay the fees as per NRI).

Preparation of the Merit :
i) The candidate who has secured minimum 25 % marks ( 20% marks in case of SC/ST) in the entrance test conducted by GFSU will only be eligible for the merit.
ii) The merit will be calculated as under. Entrance Test 50 % marks. B. Pharm Examination 40 % marks. GATE / GPAT Examination 10 % marks.

ii) Duly filled in application form along with Demand Draft is to be sent by last date specified in a sealed envelope marked as “MS FORENSIC PHARMACY 2012” on the left hand side top corner of the envelope can be submitted either in person or by registered post or by courier on the following address.
