    PG Admission Notification
    ADMISSIONS INFORMATION BROCHURE GUIDELINES :

    I GENERAL :
    1. NUCET-2012 is a Common Entrance Test conducted by Nannaya University for admission into various PG and PG Diploma courses in Adikavi Nannaya University [Except MCA and MBA] offered for the academic year 2012-2013.
    2. Candidates who have already passed or appearing for qualifying examination are eligible for NUCET-2012.
    3. Eligibility criteria for admission into University courses are given in Annexure-I

    4. Candidates from other recognized universities shall be considered for admission only with 10+2+3 or 12+3 pattern of study.
    5. Admission may be given into any of the MSc / MA Courses related to subjects in Part II of the Bachelor’s Degree with equal weightage, otherwise into the course of the subject with highest weightage.
    6. Candidates from universities, recognized by University Grants Commission are eligible for admission.
    7. Candidates shall go through the information brochure carefully and claim admission under appropriate categories of reservation by filling in the relevant boxes with appropriate code numbers in the application form.
    8. Candidates who have already completed one P.G. Course (Professional or non-Professional) will not be considered for any type of scholarship whatsoever, as per G.O.s in force. As per Govt. of AP Social Welfare (Edn) Department Memo No. 10537/Sw.Edn.2/2011 dated : 01.11.2011. The maximum eligible age for obtaining scholarship in respect of SC, ST and BC is 34 years and in respect of EBC/Minorities/Disabled is 30 years for PG and above courses.

    II HOW TO APPLY :
    1. Download application and brochure : http://www.nannayauniversity.info (or) from O/o Principal, University College, Nannaya University, Rajahmundry.
    2. Filled-in application should be accompanied with: (
    i) DD for Rs 300/- in favour of Registrar, Adikavi Nannaya University, payable at Rajahmundry, mentioning candidate’s name and course applied for on the back side.
    (ii) Copies of:
    (a) Degree/diploma/provisional certificate of the qualifying examination.
    (b) Proof of Date of birth (SSC certificate).
    (c) Proof of claims of reservations under SC, ST, BC [A/B/C/D/E], PH, NCC, Sports and Children of Armed personnel (CAP)
    (iii) Filled in Hall tickets in duplicate
    (iv) Three self-addressed and Rs 5/- stamp-affixed envelopes.
    (v) A Self- addressed post card for acknowledgement

    III IMPORTANT DATES :
    Commencement of sale of application forms : 19.03.2012
    Last Date for receipt of filled in application forms : 16.04.2012
    Last Date for receipt of filled in application forms with fine of Rs.500 : 23.04.2012
    NUCET 2012 Test : 20.05.2012
    Announcement of Results : 31.05.2012

    IV HALLTICKETS :
    1. Hall tickets will be sent to the candidates, one week before the examination date. Candidates may contact at (0883) 2472614, in case of non-receipt of hall-ticket by 14.05.2012.
    2. Duplicate hall-ticket will be issued, one day before the commencement of Entrance Test, on production of:
    (i) Proof of submission of application form,
    (ii) one attested passport size photograph
    (iii) Cash / Demand Draft for Rs. 100/-drawn in favour of the Registrar, Adikavi Nannaya University payable at Rajahmundry.

    V TEST PROCEDURE :
    1. Candidates should be present in the examination hall, half-an hour before the commencement of the test.
    2. No candidate will be permitted to write the examination without hall-ticket.
    3. No candidate is permitted to leave the examination hall till the examination time is completed.
    4. Calculators, pagers, cellular phones, books, papers, logarithm tables, slide-rule or any other calculating aids are not allowed into the examination hall.
    5. University will take disciplinary action against the candidates involved in indiscipline, malpractice, impersonation, etc.

    VI RANK :
    1. Qualified candidates will be awarded ranks, as per the marks secured in the respective entrance tests.
    2. In case of a tie between candidates securing the same marks in a test, the order of merit will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in Part-A of the test. In case of a further tie, the marks obtained by the candidate in Part-B shall be taken into account and so on. If the tie continues, the date of birth of the candidate shall be taken into account, with priority to older candidate.
    3. Rank card will be sent to the candidates under Certificate of posting. A duplicate Rank card can be obtained on payment of Rs. 100/-in cash or by DD in favour of the Registrar, Adikavi Nannaya University by furnishing a copy of the hall-ticket.

    VII ADMISSION INFORMATION :

    1. Admission shall be based on the rank obtained in the respective entrance tests, subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria as given in Annexure–I.
    2. Candidates qualified in the entrance tests (NUCET-2012) are given admission to the courses offered by Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajahmundry only.
    3. Candidates at the time of admission should submit the following original certificates in support of the qualification and reservations claimed in the application along with a draft for the prescribed fee in the name of The Registrar, Adikavi Nannaya University. All original certificates will be retained in the administrative office till the completion of the course. The following certificates in original are to be submitted at the time of admission.
    I. NUCET-2012 Rank card & Hall Ticket
    II. Degree/Provisional Pass Certificate of the qualifying examination.
    III. Marks Statements of the qualifying examination
    IV. Transfer and conduct certificate from the institution of last study V. Migration Certificate (if applicable)
    VI. Date of Birth Certificate (SSC/Matriculation or equivalent Certificate)
    VII. Study Certificates for the last seven years or Residence Certificate for VIII. seven years preceding to the qualifying examination
    IX. Intermediate Original Certificate
    X. Integrated Community Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of BC/SC/ST candidates
    XI. Latest income certificate issued by MRO / Tahasildar, if fee concession is claimed (the validity of income certificate is for one year from the date of issue)
    XII. 6 attested recent passport size photos XIII. Candidates opting for admission under NCC/Sports/CAP/PH quota shall
    XIV. produce relevant certificate, in addition to the above
    XV. Physical fitness certificate
    XVI. One set of Photostat copies of all the above certificates
    4. A student once admitted into course will get his/her original certificates only after the completion of the course.
    5. Candidates admitted into any course shall not undertake any assignment / employment or study any other course simultaneously and any violation leads to cancellation of admission.
    7. The university reserves the right to fill or not to fill the seats earmarked for a particular course on administrative reasons.
    8. All the admissions are purely provisional and the University reserves the right to cancel the admission at any stage.
    9. The schedule of admissions will be intimated to the candidates by the Convener, NUCET-2012. IX RESERVATION OF SEATS A. Local Candidates In every course of study 85% of the available seats are reserved in favour of the local candidates from Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam districts and students from Kurnool Silver Jubilee college and Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswavidyalayam (Tirupathi) belonging to Andhra University area. The reservation, however, does not apply to any course of study in which the total number of available seats does not exceed three. While determining the number of seats reserved in favour of local candidates, any fraction of a seat is counted in favour of local candidates provided there is at least one unreserved seat for which locals and non-locals compete. A candidate shall be regarded as a local candidate in relation to a local area (AU/OU/SVU); If he/she has studied in an educational institution or educational institutions in such local
    VIII. seven years preceding to the qualifying examination
    IX. Intermediate Original Certificate
