I. DIRECTORATE OF HEALTH SERVICES :
1.Name of the Post : Senior Consultants
(i) Gynaecologist - 2 posts
(ii) Physician - 22 posts
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/-
Age : Not exceeding 40 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications :-
Essential :
(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii) Post Graduate Degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in speciality concerned.
(iii) Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation Diploma.
(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi.

2.Name of the post : Senior ENT Surgeon

Educational & Other Qualifications :-
Essential :
(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956.
(ii) Post-graduate degree/diploma qualifications in the speciality concerned.
(iii) 3 years work in a responsible position connected with the speciality after post-graduation in case of post graduate degree holders and 5 years work after post-graduate diploma in a responsible position connected with speciality in the case of post graduate diploma holders.
(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi.

3.Name of the post : Junior Radiologist

(i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 18 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or a degree of Goa Medical School (Medico-Cirurgiao).
(ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable :
(i) Experience in the general medical practice or the concerned speciality as the case may be.
ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

5.Name of the post : Assistant Pharmaceutical Chemist

Educational & Other Qualifications :
Essential :
1) Graduate in Pharmacy and a registered Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 with 3 years experience :
i) in a hospital pharmacy / Government Medical Store in planning the requirements of drugs/medicines, monitoring the distribution/consumption of drugs, manufacturing stock solutions and galenical preparations; OR
ii) in a pharmaceutical industry engaged in the manufacturing and testing of drugs; OR
iii) in a recognised testing laboratory under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, engaged in the testing of drugs; OR
iv) in a Drugs Controller Office engaged in dealing with problems connected with standard of drugs.
2) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable : Knowledge or Marathi.

II. INSTITUTE OF PSYCHIATRY AND HUMAN BEHAVIOUR :
6.Name of the post : Clinical Psychologist

(iii) 2 years experience of teaching including Psychological testing & counseling.
(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable :
i) Doctorate in concerned field from a recognized University or equivalent.
ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

III. LABOUR DEPARTMENT :

IV. DIRECTORATE OF HIGHER EDUCATION :
8.Name of the post : Librarian

Age : Not exceeding 40 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications :
Essential :
(i) Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information science/ documentation or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale plus a consistently good academic record, computerization of library.
(ii) Qualifying in the National Level Test (NET) conducted for the purpose by the UGC or State Level Test (SET) accredited by the UGC. Those holding Ph.D Degree are exempted from NET. Candidates holding Ph.D. degree and are already in the University system and have obtained Master’s Degree prior to 1991 be given relaxation of 5% from 55% to 50% of marks for appointment to the post of College Librarian.
(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable : (i) M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation / Archives and Manuscript Keeping. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

V. STATE DIRECTORATE OF CRAFTSMEN TRAINING :

Essential :
(i) Degree in Engineering from a recognized University
