INSTRUCTIONS AND PROCEDURE FOR ON-LINE APPLICATION FORM AIPMT - 2012

1. Please read the instructions and proceed carefully before you start filling the Application Form.

2. Candidates can apply for AIPMT - 2012 “Online”.

3. Examination Fees Details:

4. Payment of Fee could be made either by Demand Draft or by Credit Card / Debit Card
a. Steps to be followed if fee is paid through Demand Draft
If you want to remit the fee by Demand Draft, get it ready before filling Application Form
Logon to the AIPMT website, fill the Application Form, note down the registration number which would be generated by system and required for payment of fee.
Fill the details of Demand Draft.
Take four printout of Confirmation Page and a printout of Address Slip and complete the confirmation Page as per instructions given in Bulletin.
b. Steps to be followed if fee is paid through Credit Card / Debit Card (This facility is currently not available)
Keep the details of Credit/Debit Card (VISA/MasterCard) ready.
Logon to the AIPMT website, fill the Application Form, note down the registration number which would be generated by system and required for payment of fee.
Make the payment through Credit/Debit Card and note down the payment receipt number, after successful payment of fee.
Take four printout of Confirmation Page and a printout of Address Slip and complete the confirmation Page as per instructions given in Bulletin.

5. Paste your two recent photographs (as given in point 6 below), sign in the specified box and send this confirmation page along with Demand Draft (incase of exam fee paid through Demand Draft) by Registered/Speed Post to "The Deputy Secretary (AIPMT Unit), Central Board of Secondary Education, Shiksha Kendra, 2, Community Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi 110 301" so as to reach on or before 02.02.2012. Application received after the last date will not be accepted.

Candidates submitting applications online are required :
to attach Demand Draft of required fee (In favour of “Secretary, CBSE, Delhi”, payable at Delhi).
to mention his/her Name, Application No., Contact Number and Address on the back of the Demand Draft.
to retain a photocopy of confirmation page for future reference.
to retain a photocopy of the Demand Draft sent.
to retain a photocopy of the Transaction if fees paid by credit card.
to retain the original receipt issued by the Post Office for having dispatch the Application Form.
The processing of applications will begin only after receiving confirmation page and fee (By Credit Card or by Demand Draft).

Candidates must retain the following documents with them as reference for future correspondence.
(i) At least four printout of the computer generated Application Form.
(ii) Original receipt issued by Post Office for having despatched the Application Form.
(iii) Proof of fee paid
6. (a) Please ensure before mailing the print out of application form/Confirmation Page that :
(i) the applicant has signed the Form at specified place.
(ii) the application bears the signature of Parent/Guardian.
(iii) the application has been authenticated/signed by the Head of the Institution/Gazetted Officer.
(iv) the two similar good quality colour studio photographs with white background (taken on or after
01.10.2011) have been duly pasted in the space earmarked for it. Further, ensure that application form
number & candidate name has been written on the back of both the photographs.
(b) Please arrange documents in the following order:

(ii) Computer Generated Application Form
(iii) Affidavit (for candidates from Andhra Pradesh and J & K)
(c) For sending Computer Generated Confirmation Page, use any good quality A5 size envelope and paste the
Computer Generated Boards Address Slip on the envelope.
7. Candidates must preserve the Admit Cards till the admission in College/Institution.
8. Computer Generated Confirmation Page/Application Form is to be despatched only by Registered/Speed Post to :-

Central Board of Secondary Education,
Shiksha Kendra, 2, Community Centre,

when will i get my aipmt admitcard?

The Board would provide the facility of downloading Admit Cards of Preliminary Stage Examination on the Board’s website. Candidates are desired to download the admit cards from the website and follow the instructions given therein. Candidate may please note that admit cards will not be sent by the post. The schedule of hosting of admit cards is as follows:
- Preliminary Examination : 09.03.2012
- Final Examination : 27.04.2012

However, I confirm that the AIPMT has not made the details available in the site as promised. You need to wait.

i am facing problem in downloading my admit card . when i try for downloading the admit card a message is showing on the computer that invalid register no . i am helpless. kindly look into matter and the needful enabling me to write aipmt. i send my documents in register.

Check your register number. If you are sure that you have not done any mistake from your side, your only source to get help is the official authorities concerned.

i am doing 12th from nation open school.i want ask that can i give AIPMT test

The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core
course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on
Education.

NOTE: where the course content is not as prescribed for 10 +2 education structure of the National Committee, the candidates will have to undergo a period of one year pre - professional training before admission to the Medical Colleges.
