Following are the eligibility conditions :
1. Officers of the Central Police Organisations or State Police Organisations
(i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department ; or
(ii) with three years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the scale of pay PB-2 Rs.9300-34,800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4,200/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or department ; and

Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience :
(i) Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
(ii) Five years’ experience in the field of recruitment and training, law and order management, modernization of police, community policing, personnel management, maintenance and analysis of crime records, use of technology in policing and welfare of police personnel.

Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs.9300-34,800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4,200/-
No. of Post : One
Eligibility : Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognised university or equivalent, Two years’ experience in legal work.

The detailed eligibility conditions, experience are enclosed herewith. The maximum age limit for appointment by transfer on deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of application.

The terms and conditions in respect of State Government officers are shown in Annexure-II enclosed. The Central and State Government Employees selected for deputation shall draw pay of their parent department plus Training Allowance @ 15% of their pay.

It is requested that the applications of the suitable and willing officers may kindly be sent to the Director General, Bureau of Police Research & Development on the address indicated above within a period of 45 days from the date of issue of this letter.
