RECRUITMENT AGAINST PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED QUOTA (Special Recruitment Drive)

Applications are invited in the prescribed format as this notification (on good quality A-4 size bond paper of 80 GSM using one side only) from eligible Indian nationals who come under the definition of Persons with Disabilities (PWD) as defined in this notification for filling up the under mentioned Group ‘C’ posts in Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore-560064. Candidates

1. Name of the post : Technician Gr. III/Electrical
Pay Band & Grade Pay : Rs. 5200-20200 With GP Rs.1900/-

Educational Qualification :
Pass in Matriculation or equivalent and Pass in Act Apprenticeship course (National Apprenticeship certificate holders)/ITI candidates in the test conducted by the National Council for Vocational Training in Electrician trade.

2. Name of the post : Technician Gr. III/Mechanical
Pay Band & Grade Pay : Rs. 5200-20200 With GP Rs.1900/-

Educational Qualification :
Pass in Matriculation or equivalent and Pass in Act Apprenticeship course (National Apprentice-ship certificate holders)/ITI candidates in the test conducted by the National Council for Vocational Training in any of the following trades; Machinist, Machinist (Grinder), Turner, Operator Advanced Machine Tools, CNC Programmer cum Operator.
Age limit : 18 to 40 years (including upper age relaxation for Persons with disabilities)

Mode of recruitment :
The selection is made strictly as per merit on the basis of a written examination consisting of multiple choice objective type questions pertaining to General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning and Technical subjects. There will be a negative marking.
