Applications are invited for admission in Diploma in Psychiatric /Mental Health Nursing course to be conducted in Department of Psychiatry, C.S.M. Medical University U.P., Lucknow.

Eligibility criteria: The student seeking admission to this course should be a registered nurse (R.N. & R.M/GNM) or equivalent. Possess a minimum of one year experience as staff nurse. Nurse from other countries must obtain an equivalence certificate from INC before admission and be physically fit.

Numbers of seats available – 20 (General – 10, OBC-06, SC/ST-04) as per University guidelines.

Duration of the course is 1 year. Students will be given a stipend of Rs. 1000/- for a maximum period of 12 months. The course syllabus, advertisement, application format and information brochure is available on website www.csmmu.in.

The interested candidates should download the application, fill it and send it to Controller of Examinations, Pariksha Bhawan (PHI), C.S.M. Medical University, Lucknow, 226003.

The form will be available from 16th December 2011. The last date for the submission of the application is 16th January, 2012. The admit cards should be personally collected from office of Controller of Examinations, PHI building, C.S.M. Medical University, Lucknow on 24th January, 2012 (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM) and 25th January, 2012 (9:00 AM to 12:00 noon).

The written examination for selection of candidates will be done on 25th January, 2012 between 2.00 PM. to 3:30 PM. The venue of the written examination at Examination Hall, Administrative Building, CSMMU, Lucknow. Interview for candidates qualifying written exams will be done on 6th February, 2012 from 10:00 AM onwards at Committee Room, PHI building, C.S.M. Medical University, Lucknow. The results of the written examination as well as final results will be declared on the website. No separate communication regarding the results will be sent to the candidates. Candidates in Government or Semi-Government services should carry a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer at the time of interview.
No T.A/D.A will be paid towards appearing in the examinations.
