National Institute Of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship And Management

NIFTEM requires a highly competent and committed faculty to build core competencies for imparting state-of-the-art education, facilitating the process of teaching world class professional and technical education in the domain of Food Science & Technology.

Position : Assistant Professor

Scale of Pay : 15,600 – 39,100 + AGP of 6,000

Qualification & Experience :
1. Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or equivalent grade where grading system is practiced at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
3. Holders of PhD degrees along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D degree through a process of admission, registration, course work and external evaluation as have been/ may be laid down by the UGC through its regulations, and so adopted by the University shall be exempted from NET. NET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET is not conducted.
