Recruitment of Sports persons against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) on Jaipur Division North Western Railway for the year 2011 – 12

Applications are invited from eligible sports persons for following sports event/category for Pay Band 5200-20200 Grade Pay 1800 (erstwhile Group ‘D’ posts) on Jaipur Division North Western Railway ;

Educational Qualification : Minimum SSC / Matriculate
Sports Achievements :
a. Represented the country in the Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior)/ Asian Championship /Asia Cup (Junior/Senior)/South Asian Federation (SAF) Games (Senior)/ USIC (World Railways) Championship (Senior) OR
b. Represented a State or equivalent Unit in Federation Cup Championships (Senior category) and obtained at least 3rd position OR
c. Represented a State or equivalent unit in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships OR
d. Represented all Units or District of the State in the Senior State Championship and obtained at least 3rd position.

Age Limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01.01.2012.

Examination Fee : Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order of 40/-.

Last date of receipt of application is 31/10/2011 up to 17 Hrs. After this, no application will be accepted. Railway will not be responsible for any postal delay/loss. Applications as per format given should be addressed to

The application should be sent by ordinary post only in a closed envelope or to dropped in the application box provided for the purpose in the Divisional Rail Manager's Office, Power House Road, North Western Railway, Jaipur up to 17.00 Hrs. on 31/10/2011. No receipt will be given at any counter. Applications sent by Registered Post/Courier/By Registered AD will not be accepted. Any deficiency/discrepancy found in the application and papers submitted by the applicant will render the application invalid. On the top of the envelope “APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA FOR THE YEAR 2011-12” should be super scribed.
