The Indian Institute of Public Administration, an apex National Institute for the study of Governance, engaged in high end Research, Consultancy and Training programmes for the Union and State Governments, Public Sector Enterprises and not-for Profit Organizations, invites applications from Indian Nationals in the prescribed form, obtainable free of charge from the Registrar on request accompanied by a self-addressed envelope (25cm x 10cm) duly stamped for Rs.10/-. for one post of Associate Professor in e-Governance & ICT

Qualification Conditions :
(i) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and /or research/ policy papers.
(ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/ college, and / or experience in research at the University/ National level institutions/ industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
(iii) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology- mediated teaching learning process. OR
Officers of All India, Central and State Service with 8 years of experience in the service concerned would be eligible. For such Officers other published work could be considered as substitute for Ph. D., and in specially deserving cases the requirement of Ph.D. may even be waived.

Scale of pay : As per the UGC norms

Age limit : Below 45 years.

General Conditions
The post carries allowances such as DA, CCA, HRA, etc. as per the rules of the Institute, which at present correspond to those admissible to the Central Government Employees.

Qualifications and age are relaxable in the case of exceptionally well qualified candidates. The Institute may also consider suitable candidates who might not have applied. The position advertised may or may not be filled up. Other things being equal, preference will be given to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates. Persons in employment should apply through the proper channel.

Mere possession of the minimum educational qualifications or experience does not entitle a candidate to be called for the interview. A limited number of candidates screened on the basis of qualifications and experience will be called for interview. It would not be obligatory on the part of the Institute to call all eligible candidates for the interview, as the applications will be screened.

Completed applications in the prescribed form (also available and can be downloaded from our website www.iipa.org.in supported by attested copies of the testimonials/ certificates etc. should reach the Registrar within 45 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.
