Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for the below mentioned post of Economic Investigator.

Eligibility :
(A) Nationality : A candidate must be a citizen of India.
(B) Educational qualification & Experience : Bachelors Degree in Economics or Statistics or Commerce from a recognized University and three years experience in collection/tabulation analysis of statistical data or research in economic field in any department of the Central Govt. or State Govt. or in any organization of reputed or statutory body.
(c) Essential : Bachelors Degree in Economics or Statistics or Commerce from a Recognized University and three years experience in collection/tabulation and analysis of statistical data or research in economic field in any department of the Central Govt. or State Govt. or in any organization of reputed or statutory body.
(D) Desirable : Training in any branch or statistics or research in the field of Economics and knowledge or computer application.
Age : Not below 18 years and not above 28 years. (No age limit for KVIC employees working in one grade below)
Selection Procedure :
(A) Selection will be on the basis of performance in personal interview.
(B) The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.
(c)Where the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large and it will not be convenient or possible for the KVIC to interview all the candidates, the KVIC at their discretion may restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit by any one or more of the following method :
i) On the basis of their qualifications higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement, or
ii) On the basis of the experience in the relevant field. Or
iii) By holding a screening test.

- Checking and Verification of Data, which is entered by Data Entry Operators.
