    Administrative Staff College of India ASCI Hyderabad Vacancy : Director of Executive Development Programmes

    Career Opportunity – Director of Executive Development Programmes, ASCI

    The Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad, will be launching a one-year Executive Development Programme (EDP) from the year 2011-12. Discussions are in progress with reputed foreign universities for a joint/dual degree/diploma. To spearhead and steer these initiatives, ASCI is on the look out for a dynamic and result-oriented management professional as Director of EDP. Ideally, the potential candidate should possess the following:

    [LIST=1][*]A good post-graduate or doctoral degree in management or a related discipline from a reputed institution in India or abroad.[*]A good record of working in industry or management training institutions or business schools.[*]A good record of peer-reviewed published work.[*]Hands-on experience of faculty-recruitment, student selections and placements, and, programme management. [*]Sound understanding of Indian and foreign (e.g. the USA, Europe or East Asia) academic institutional frameworks and management scenarios.[*]Good communication and coordination skills.[*]Proven leadership abilities.[/LIST]
    The selected candidate would ideally be in the age group of 40 to 50 years. The appointment will be initially for a period of 5 years, renewable for further terms. The remuneration and benefits would compare favorably with those enjoyed by a Professor at IIMs, with flexibility for negotiations in deserving cases. He/she will report to the Director General of ASCI.
