RECRUITMENT AGAINST CULTURAL QUOTA FOR THE YEAR 2011-12

Employment Notice No. P/NCR/CQR/2011-2012

Closing Date : 30.08.2011 at 18.00 hrs.

Application are invited for recruitment of 2 (two) posts in Group ‘C’ Grade pay 1900/- (UR) against Cultural quota for the year 2011-12 in the following disciplines. The eligible candidates can apply on the prescribed format Annexure.-‘A’.

Scale of Pay : - ` 5200-20200+Grade Pay ` 1900/-

Qualifications :-
The candidate should have minimum qualification of matriculation or equivalent examination passed with 50 % aggregate or higher qualification from any recognized Board. The condition of 50% marks is not applicable for those with higher qualification.
Essential :
Possession of degree/diploma certificate in music from Government recognized institution.
Desirable :
i. Experience in the field and performances given on AIR/Doordarshan etc.
ii. Prizes at national level

Age :-
The candidates should be aged between 18 to 30 years as on 01.01.2012. There is no age relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ communities as the post is not reserved.

Examination Fee (Non refundable) :
(a) For GL/OBC candidates : ` 40/-
(b) For SC/ST candidates : NIL.

How to apply :-
Application shall be submitted on A-4 size quality white paper and should be in conformity with the format given in this notice Annexure’ A’. Candidates are advised to ensure that the application is legible, written in their own handwriting (English/Hindi) on only one side of the paper, dated and signed. Use only international numerals (1, 2, 3, etc). The candidate should affix his/her normal (English/Hindi) signature in the application form.
Photograph :- One recent passport size photograph with clear front view of the candidate in normal attire without cap/sunglasses/wigs (not earlier than one month of the date of application) should be pasted on the application in the space provided and signed by the candidate on the top of the photograph and two photograph containing name and address on back to be firmly stitched to the application form.

To whom apply :- The application complete in all respect along with all the enclosures duly attached should be sent in a cover addressed to the Dy.Chief Personnel Officer/IR, North Central Railway, Personnel Branch, ‘B’ Block, GM’s Office, Allahabad (U.P.) Application should be sent by ordinary post or dropped in box kept in this office for this purpose. Application sent by registered post/courier or speed post will not be acknowledged. The envelop containing the application should clearly be super-scribed “Application for Recruitment against Cultural Quota for the year 2011-12”.

Last date for receipt of application : The closing date for the receipt of the application is 30.08.2011 up to 18.00 hrs.. Last date of submission of application for candidates residing abroad and in “Andaman Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands, will be 14.09.2011 up to 18.00 hrs. Applications received after closing date and time will not be entertained.
