Direct recruitment for filling up of vacant posts of Havildar (Engine Fitter) in TSR Battalions (inside and outside ) quota.

Havildar (Engine Fitter) in TSR – 87 posts

Age Limit : 18 to 25 years

Qualification and Experience :
(a) have passed Matriculation or an equivalent examination.
(b) possess a certificate in the trade of Engine Fitter or Auto Fitter or Electrician from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI).
(c) have acquired good proficiency in handling of Diesel & Petrol Engine or Electrical equipment.

1. Height : Should have minimum height of 167.64 cms (5’ 6”) for SC/UR category candidates and 162.50 cms (5’ 4”) for Gorkha, Garwali, Kumaonese, Adiwasi and Tribal candidates.
2. Chest : Chest measurement of whole height is 167.64 cms (5’6”) should be 78.74 cms (31”) un-expanded and 83.82 cms (33”) expanded and whose height is less than 167.64 cms the corresponding chest measurements should be 76.20 cms (30”) and 81.28 cms (32”).

Pay scale : Rs. 5310 - 24,000/- in Pay Band-2 with Grade pay Rs.1,800/-
The recruitment team will examine height, chest, age limit, documents and other conditions as mentioned above in respect of all the candidates who appeared before the recruitment team and only those candidates who satisfy the above conditions will be permitted for physical test.
Only those candidates who qualify in all events of the physical test will be permitted for written test.

Written Test : Full marks – 80, Pass mark -32 (40% of full marks-80) & time 2 hours.

Oral /Interview
Only those candidates who secure minimum 40% marks in the written test will be permitted for oral/interview
