The detailed break up of allocation of candidates against the available vacancies is as under:
A. JUNIOR TRANSLATOR
Vacancies : 46
B. Hindi Translator / JUNIOR HINDI TRANSLATOR in Subordinate Offices/ other offices
Vacancies : 177
The lists of recommended candidates are purely PROVISIONAL and subject to the candidates fulfilling all the eligibility conditions prescribed for Open/Departmental candidates in the Notice of said examination and also subject to, among other things, thorough verification of their identity with reference to their photographs, signatures, handwritings, etc on the application forms, admission certificates etc.
For candidates belonging to reserved categories for whom certain percentage of vacancies are reserved as per policy of the Government, the category status is indicated against their roll numbers. It is important to note that some of these candidates have been declared qualified for the category mentioned against their roll numbers. If any candidate does not actually belong to the category mentioned against his/her name, he/she may not be eligible to be included in the list. It is, therefore, in the interest of candidates concerned to contact immediately the respective Regional Offices of the Commission in all such cases where they do not belong to the categories shown against their Roll Numbers.

The candidates who could not find place in select list due to blank option / no vacancies as per their option (51 in number) have been kept in the reserve list for meeting future requirements, if any, before the next examination in CSOL/ Subordinate & other offices, subject to their meeting the prescribed eligibility
conditions.
