    INVITES APPLICATIONS FROM INDIAN CITIZENS FOR APPOINTMENT OF
    CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER AS PER THE FOLLOWING ELEGIBILITY CRITERIA
    1. No. of vacancies - 01
    2. Name of the Post - Chief Security Officer
    3. Scale of Pay - SMG Scale-V
    (Rs.36200/-1000/2-38200-1100/2- 40400/-)
    4. Minimum Qualification - Colonel & above in Army or a person
    of equivalent rank in Navy/Air Force
    or a Police Officer of the rank of DIG
    or a person of equivalent rank in
    para military services.
    5. Experience - In-built in qualifications mentioned above
    6. Maximum age limit - 55 years (age is inclusive of all relaxations)
    As on 01.10.2010
    Note : All candidates are advised to mention in the application their substantive as well as
    Acting Rank.
    All candidates other than from Army should also submit a certificate from their employer
    indicating equivalent ranks in Army to his/her substantive rank as well as Acting Rank.

    Selection Procedure

    1. All eligible candidates who apply in the prescribed format given at our website
    www.obcindia.co.in with certified copies of required certificates and whose
    applications are received on or before the last date of receipt application will be
    considered for interview.
    2. Selection will be made on basis of performance in the interview. Merely satisfying
    the eligibility norms can not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. The bank
    reserves the right to call only the requisite number of candidates for interview after
    preliminary screening/short-listing with reference to candidates qualifications,
    suitability and experience etc.

    Application Fee and Postage Charges (Non-Refundable)

    1. Rs.50/- (only postage) for SC/ST candidates.
    2. Rs. 400/- (Application Fee Rs. 350 + Postage Rs. 50/-) for all others should be
    sent by Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque favouring "ORIENTAL BANK OF
    COMMERCE" payable at New Delhi.

    General Instructions.

    1. The banks takes no responsibility for any delay in receipt or loss in postal transit
    of any application or communication.
    2. The applications are to be sent strictly in accordance with the prescribed format
    given at our website www.obcindia.co.in and is properly and completely filled.
    Only certified true copies of all certificates should be sent by the candidate
    alongwith the application .
    3. Before applying for the post, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills the
    eligibility and other norms mentioned in this advertisement. The bank would be
    free to reject any application at any stage of the recruitment process if the
    candidate is found as ineligible for the post for which he/she applied. The
    decision of the bank shall be final in taking decision on qualification/experience
    and other eligibility norms.
    4. Candidates are required to submit a certified copy of their Caste Certificate in
    support of his/her claim belonging to the caste category.
    5. An application not accompanied by relevant certificates in respect of educational
    qualification, experience and caste category etc. or not in prescribed format or not
    signed by the candidate or incomplete in any respect will not be entertained.
    6. Applications once made will not be allowed to withdrawn.
    7. A recent passport size photograph should be firmly pasted on the application and
    should be signed across by the candidate.
    8. Candidate who are in employment should send their applications through proper
    channel and produce a no objection certificate from their employer at the time of
    interview, in the absence of which their candidature may not be considered.
    9. Only candidates willing to serve anywhere in India should apply.
    10. Decision of the bank in all matters regarding eligibility of the candidates, the
    stage at which such scrutiny of eligibility is to be undertaken, the documents to be
    produced for the purpose of conduct of interview, selection etc. and any other
    matter relating to recruitment will be final and binding on the candidates. No
    correspondence or personal enquiries shall be entertained by the bank in this
    behalf.
    11. Any resulting dispute arising out of this advertisement shall be subject to the sole
    jurisdiction of the Courts situated at NCT of Delhi.
    12. Candidates called for interview will be paid actual II-AC to and from Rail/Bus
    fare by the shortest route on production of evidence of travel, i.e. Railway
    Receipt/Ticket.
