    Recruitment of Specialist Category Officers in MMG Scale III, SMG Scale IV and on Contractual Appointment - 2010.

    The details are given below:
    1. The age, qualification and experience (As on 31.08.2010) for the above posts is prescribed as
    under:

    Chief Manager (Forensic) in SMG Scale IV
    At least 10 years experience in relevant field in Surveillance and Monitoring Department of Government/Semi-Government including Private/Public Sector Banks/ reputed Corporates. However, Candidates with FCA or CFE shall be preferred.

    Chief Manager (Investigation)
    in SMG Scale IV

    Senior Manager (Detective)
    Ex-employee of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) /Police Dept. /Dept. of Revenue Investigations of Govt. of India/ State Govts.

    Defence Banking Advisor (Army)
    Major General or Brigadier.

    Defence Banking Advisor (Air Force)
    Air Vice Marshal or
    Air Commodore.

    Defence Banking Advisor (Navy)
    Rear Admiral/ Commodore or equivalent to Brigadier of Army or Air Vice Marshal of Air Force.

    Fraud Investigation Officer
    Retired Middle Level Police Officer with 05 to 10 years of experience in Anti corruption Dept. with good Communication Skills

    Business
    Development Officer
    Retired Middle Level Officer from Police/ Para Military force with 05 to 10 years of experience as Dy. Commandant/ Commandant from CRPF or any other Para Military Forces or equivalent rank from Police with good Communication Skills


    [LIST][*]Remuneration/ Compensation:[/LIST]

    01 & 02 Scale IV- Regular
    Scale of Pay is ` 30,600-900/4-1000/2. The total emoluments at the start of the Scale shall be ` 46,000/- approx. + usual perks & benefits at Metro Centre.
    03 Scale III-Regular or on Contract.
    Scale of Pay is ` 25,700-800/5-900/2. The total emoluments at the start of the Scale shall be ` 38,600/- approx. p.m. + usual perks & benefits at Metro Centre.
    The candidate shall also have the option to opt for Contractual Appointment for minimum period of three years on lumpsum payment of ` 6.40 Lacs p.a.
    04, 05 & 06 On Contract
    The total compensation shall be ` 20 lacs less ` 7 lacs (approximate amount of pension drawn per annum) i.e ` 13 lacs (approx). out of this ` 13 lacs, ` 8 lacs shall be paid as Fixed compensation and ` 5 lacs as Variable Compensation, linked to performance. The period of contract shall be two years. However, extension may be considered on grounds of performance.
    07 & 08 On Contract
    The candidate may be taken on Contractual basis for minimum period of three years on lumpsum payment of ` 6.40 Lacs p.a.

    3. JOB PROFILE:
    01 & 02
    These Officials shall be primarily expected to carry out Forensic Investigation of Frauds and submit the report about status of the cases reported to it, reviewed, investigated & closed. They shall lend the sharpness and preventive edge required in controlling fraud, shall be responsible for regular review and updating the fraud investigation policy.

    The Official shall be primarily expected to carry out detection of frauds.

    04, 05 & 06
    These Officials shall be primarily expected to mobilize Banking Business from Defence Sector, Ex-Servicemen by appropriate coordination and marketing of our various Retail and other products. They shall also be acting as Chief Liason Officer for redressal of grievances and complaints of Defence Personnel and eastablishments, pensioners etc. The placement of Defence Banking Advisor-Navy shall be placed at Mumbai. Bank may however, decide to modify the place of posting as per Bank’s requirement.

    These Officials shall be primarily expected to carry out fraud investigation, identify & plug loop holes in the Banking System.

    These Officials shall primarily carry out Deposit Mobilization and Business Development in Defence sector.

    4. SELECTION PROCEDURE

    The eligible candidates will be called for personal interview and the decision of the bank in this regard shall be final.

    6. APPLICATION FEE

    Application fee is Rs.1000/- payable by way of Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalised/Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of “Central Bank of India- Recruitment of Specialist Officers-2010” and payable at Mumbai

    7. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

    a) While applying for the posts, the applicant should ensure that he / she fulfills the eligibility and other norms mentioned above and that the particulars furnished are correct in all respects. In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and / or that he / she has furnished any incorrect / false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his / her candidature will automatically stand cancelled. If any of the above shortcoming(s) is / are detected even after appointment, his / her services are liable to be terminated without any notice.

    b) In case of suitable and deserving cases, any of the requirements and conditions of eligibility mentioned above, may be relaxed at the discretion of the Management. The Management reserves the right to fill or not to fill the above advertised position without assigning any reason thereof.

    c) Mere submission of application against the advertisement and apparently fulfilling the criteria as prescribed in the advertisement would not bestow on him / her right to be called for interview.
