INSTRUCTION

(1) The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing
date for the receipt of applications from candidates.
(2) Age relaxation up to 5(five) years for SC/ST and 3(three) years for
OBC candidates. Applicant claiming age relaxation has to attach
attested copy of Caste Certificate from the appropriate authorities.
(3) Age relaxation (Gen 35 yrs, OBC 38 yrs, and SC/ST 40 yrs)
admissible to widows and women separated from their husbands but
not remarried.
(4) In case of OBC, the Caste Certificate, inter-alia must specify that
the candidate does not belong to ‘creamy layer’ and the Certificate for
OBC, should be in conformity with the format contained in GOI Dept
of Pers & Trg OM 36033/28/94-Estt (Res) dated 02 Jul 1997 at the
time of interview.
(5) Ex-Serviceman candidates should forward undertaking as per
GOI/DOP&T OM 36034/29/Estts/Sct dated 3rd April 1991. Age
relaxation for Ex-Serviceman is available as per prescribed
Government of India rules. Benefit of age relaxation is to be claimed
only once by Ex-Serviceman.
(6) The Persons with Disability who want to avail benefit of
reservation and age relaxation have to submit Disability Certificate
issued by the Competent Authority in the format given in Annexure-I
of GOI/DOP&T OM 36035/3/2004-Estt (Res) dated 29th December
2005.
(7) Eligible candidates working in Central Government/State
Government etc. must submit their application through proper
channel and have to produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their
present employer at the time of interview.
(8) No relaxation in age limit will be provided unless the category is
not filled appropriately at the relevant column in the application form.
The candidates claiming reservation in more than one category / sub
category will be entitled to only one concession whichever is more
beneficial to them.
(9) Application must be sent by ordinary post only.
(10) The envelope containing the application should be clearly
superscripted in BOLD capitals with the name of the post applied for
and reservation category viz. SC/ST/OBC/UR as applicable as follow:-

(11) Separate application is to be sent for each post. One application
for each post be made and duplicate applications for the same post
will entail disqualification.
(12) Applications without full details in the given specimen, 02 self
addressed envelopes, two photographs, signature, attested certificates
and those not conforming with required specification will be rejected
summarily.
(13) The department shall not be responsible for postal delay/loss.
(14) If the number of applications received in response to
advertisement is large and it may not be convenient or possible for the
department to test/interview all the candidates, the department may
restrict the number of candidates called for test/interview to a
reasonable limit on the basis of merit in the basic qualification
prescribed in the advertisement.
(15) The Department reserves the right of cancelling the candidature
of any candidate found indulging in any malpractice i.e. hiding any
material information, misrepresentation of facts or canvassing for
candidature. All such candidates will liable to be debarred from this
examination as well as future examination and a criminal proceeding
may also be initiated.
(16) Being successful in interview does not entitle a candidate for
appointment, until the Government, after completion of such
investigation, as it may consider necessary, shall satisfy itself that the
candidate is suitable in all respects for appointment.
(17) Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India.
(18) Decision of Appointing Authority would be final.
