EdCIL (India) Limited (EdCIL), a Government of India Enterprise under the administrative control of Ministry of Human Resource Development has been entrusted by The Muhimbili University Of Health & Allied Sciences, Tanzania * to recruit Indian Teaching Faculties to their university in the fields of:
• Human Anatomy
• Human Physiology
• Medical Pharmacology
• Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)

Applications in the Prescribed Format (please see Pages 4 to 9) in Hardcopy only are invited from competent Teaching Faculties viz. Professors, Associate Professors, Senior Lecturers, Lecturers having good English background for Undertaking Research & Teaching in the Muhimbili University Of Health & Allied Sciences.
Departments: Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Medical Pharmacology and Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)

Eligibility Criteria for Teaching Faculties viz. Professor/ Associate Professor/ Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer:
• Masters (or) Bachelors degree in concerned stream with appropriate GPA/ Percentage
• A minimum of 3 years teaching experience
• Two or three publications in referred journals is desired
• Ph.D. candidates will be given preference

Job Description: (Professor / Associate professor/ Senior lecturer/ Lecturer)
• Conducting research and develop niche areas
• Teaching to undergraduate students/ graduates/ postgraduate students
• Undertake all administration work as required for teaching and research purposes
• Have excellent people skills towards students, parents and colleagues
• Supervise and promote research
• Involved in all administrative and academic activities of the department

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR TEACHING STAFF
The Muhimbili University of Health & Allied Sciences offers employment to the faculties on the terms and conditions set out here under :-

1. Designation:
The level of entry (e.g. Professor, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer, Lecturer etc.) will be based on one’s qualifications and publications.

2. Tenure:
The appointment is on contract terms for two years, and renewable by mutual agreement.

3. Salary:
Salary scale for selected Professor/ Associate Professor/ Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer shall be USD 3,000 – 4,500 per month depending on the academic rank. However Salary is based on one’s qualifications and other credentials.

4. Travel Assistance:
The employer will provide travel assistance to the employee on appointment and termination of appointment in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Terms and Conditions of Services of The Muhimbili University of Health & Allied Sciences.

5. Medical Benefits:
The Muhimbili University of Health & Allied Sciences will provide a health insurance cover to all new joiners.
