    RECRUITMENT FOR THE POSTS OF OFFICERS & CLERK-CUM-CASHIERS (OFFICE ASSISTANTS)


    APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FROM INDIAN CITIZENS FOR APPOINTMENT TO THE FOLLOWING POSTS IN THE OFFICER CADRE & CLERK-CUM-CASHIER (OFFICE ASSISTANT) CADRE

    Important Dates :
    1. Last Date of receipt of application : 17/04/2010
    2. Date of written test for Clerk : 20/06/2010
    3. Date of written test for Officer : 13/06/2010

    VACANCIES :
    * Clerk-cum-Cashier / Office Assistant : 19 posts,
    Pay Scale : Rs. 4410-13210

    * Officer Scale-I : 08 posts,
    Pay Scale : Rs.10000-18240

    * Age : 18 to 26 for both the posts

    Application Fee : Rs.450/- (Rs.50/- for SC/St/PWD/ Ex.SM) for each post, paid only by means of Account Payee crossed Bank Draft, in favour of "Parvatiya Gramin Bank Recruitment Account - Officers" OR "Parvatiya Gramin Bank Recruitment Account - Office Assistant" payable at Chamba. Candidate should write his / her name and address on the reverse of the Demand Draft.

    SELECTION PROCEDURE:
    The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of written test and interview. All the eligible candidates who apply with the requisite fee and whose applications are received in time will be called for a written test,
    Written Test:
    (i) Written Test for Officers will be held on: 13.06.2010
    (ii) Written Test for Office Assistants will be held on: 20.06.2010
    (iii)The dates of examinations are tentative. The exact dates will be communicated to the candidates through call letter for each examination. The Bank, however, reserves the right to cancel or make any change in the date of examination, if need arises.
    (iv) The Written test will be held only at CHAMBA (H.P.) and the address of the Venue will be advised in the Call Letter:

    PROBATION:
    The candidates finally selected will be under probation of -
    For Officers = 2 Years
    For Office Assistants = 1 Year

    Pre- Examination Training for SC/ST/Minority/EXS Candidates
    It is proposed to impart free Pre Examination training to SC/ST/Minority/EXS candidates at Chamba or elsewhere at the discretion of the bank. An eligible candidate who wishes to avail pre-examination training should fill in the relevant column in the application format. All expenses regarding travelling, boarding, lodging etc will be borne by the candidate for attending the pre-examination training programme at the concerned training centre.

    HOW TO APPLY:
    (a) All eligible candidates should apply in the prescribed Application Format given at the end of this advertisement to reach on or before17.04.2010. Applications received after 17.04.2010 will not be considered.
    (b) If a candidate is eligible and desires to apply for more than one post, he / she should make separate application for each post for which he / she wishes to apply along with separate application fee for each of the posts.
    (c) A candidate must fill the application form in CAPITAL LETTERS in his/ her own handwriting.
    (d) Application should be in A-4 size paper (11.69” x 8.27”) and should be strictly as per the format and contain no correction / alteration/ over writings. Certified copies of the following shall be enclosed to the application –
    (i) Caste/Tribe/Community/Disability/Defence service certificate in case candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXS.
    (ii) Class X certificate/ marks list containing date of birth.
    (iii) Xerox copies of educational qualifications certificate.

    Call Letters for Written Examination :
    All eligible candidates will be issued call letters at the correspondence address given by the candidates in their application form, which will be sent by post. An eligible candidate who does not receive the call letter by 7.06.2010 in case of officers & 14.06.2010 in case of clerk cum cashiers (office assistants) should contact at the following address with details of his/her name, address, photocopy of the Application form for each post, details of Demand Draft etc, for obtaining duplicate call letters. Duplicate call letters will be issued on 10.06.2010 in case of officers & on 17.06.2010 in case of clerk cum cashiers at the following address:
