Indian Bank invites applications from talented Sportspersons for Men’s team in Basketball, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Volleyball and for Men’s & Women’s team in Athletics and Carom for appointment in Officer and Clerical Cadre. Only Indian Citizens are eligible for appointment under this Scheme.

NUMBER OF POSTS : Age :
Officers : 5 21 to 30 years
Clerks : 15 18 to 28 years

Sports Qualification Officers :
Should have represented the Country or won an Arjuna Award or represented the State with distinction for at least five years in continuation

Sports Qualification clerks :
Should have represented the State in National event, or the District in State level event with distinction, or his University in an Inter-University event with distinction or if he was a member of combined Universities Tea

SCALE OF PAY :
Officers :.14500 - 600/7 – 18700 – 700/2 – 20100 – 800/7 - 25700
Clerks `. : 7200 – 400/3 – 8400 – 500/3 – 9900 – 600/4 – 12300 – 700/7 – 17200 – 1300/1 - 18500 – 800/1 - 19300

Application Fee : Rs.400/- for Officers and Rs.300/- for Clerks (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) to be paid in the form of DD in favour of Indian Bank payable at Chennai.
