Applications are invited for the 02 [two] Group 'C' posts in scale Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/2000 against Cultural Quota for Headquarter, East Central Railway, Hajipur in the following discipline.

Educational Qualification
[i] Matriculation and its equivalent
[ii] Possession of degree/diploma/certificate in concerned disciplined from Government recognized Institute.
Desirable
[a] Experience in the field and performance given on AIR/Doordarshan etc.
[b] Prizes won at National Level.

Age
18 to 30 years [age will reckoned on 01.01.2011]
[Upper age relaxation of 05 years for SC/ST candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates]

Examination Fees
The Examination fees for recruitment against Cultural Quota in Group ‘C’ will be Rs. 40/- . Date of issue of IPO/Bank Draft should not be before the date of issue of this Employment Notice (SC / ST and Ex. Servicemen are fully exempted from Examination fee). Postal Order/Bank Draft should be drawn in favour of ‘FA & CAO, East Central Railway, Hajipur’ payable at Hajipur.

How & whom to apply ?
The given format should be neatly typed or hand written either in Hindi or English with one Passport size photographs to be pasted [duly signed] with the application form and two passport size photographs duly signed at back side should be clipped along the application form. Application should be sent to Dy. Chief Personnel Officer /Recruitment., Railway Recruitment Cell, Polson Complex, Digha Ghat, Patna, Bihar, PIN- 800011 so as to reach on or before 23-08-2010 by ordinary post or to be dropped in the application box provided for the purpose in above office up to 18.00 Hrs. on or before 23-08-2010. No receipt at the counter will be given.
All the candidates should indicate clearly “Application against Cultural Quota”, Employment Notice No. ECR/HRD/Rectt/Cultural/1/2010-11 & Community on the top of the envelope.
No application will be accepted after the closing date for whatever reason, neither any enclosure received separately after the receipt of application will be connected there with.

Enclosures : The following enclosures should be firmly attached with the application.
(a) Postal Order / Bank Draft of Rs. 40/- in favour of ‘FA&CAO, East Central Railway, Hajipur’.
(b) Xorox Copy of certificates attested by Gazetted Officer/Self Attested in support of age, educational qualification and participation certificate in Cultural for their eligibility as mentioned above.
(c) Xorox Copy of Caste Ccertificate attested by Gazetted Officer/Self Attested in case of SC / ST candidates, For OBC candidates, current creamy layer certificate (for Central Government Service) issued by the competent authority should be enclosed.
(d) Three similar recent passport size photograph duly signed. One photograph is to be pasted on the application and two photographs are to be attached with the application.

Procedure for recruitment
Selection will be conducted through written test and assessment of talent in the relevant field on the basis of Practical Demonstration and testimonials/Prizes etc.
The mode of selection, date, venue and time will be intimated to the eligible candidate through post (under certificate of posting). The decision of East Central Railway in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of application, allotment of venues will be final and binding on the candidates.
The decision of the Recruitment Committee in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of application etc. will be final and binding on the candidates and no inquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this connection.

Subsequent guidelines received from Railway Board shall also be applicable for this notification.

For any legal action arising out of the above jurisdiction shall be CAT [Central Administrative Tribunal] Patna.
