Everyday, I am receiving cv's from many people seeking jobs.
Its funny but I am not a recruiter.
I decided to allow the CVs in the forum.
For the time being the forum allows guests to post reply to threads.
However they cannot edit their own posts.
Also the posts will goto moderation queue, and need to be approved before they appear in the forum.
What does this mean to the forum?
The posts get jumbled. Google gets fresh unique content. May mean more traffic.
What does this mean to job seeker?
Your cv gets exposure.
Recruiters see see your CV and might decide to try you.
What does this mean to recruiter?
We get visited by thousands of people everyday.
Cant rule out that some of them are recruiters.
This gives a compelling reason for the recruiters to come back here often to get CV's of their interest.
What does this mean to me?
I dont get junk mail having CVs anymore.
Guests, please do not misuse this facility, in which case the facility will be removed. From time to time, I am experimenting with having a recapcha or "Nospam question" for guest posts. If I find that bots are on the rampage, I will switch on this.
That said, I would encourage guests to register in the board before posting.
Advantages of registering:
1) You can have a separate profile which can be modified.
2) Can use private message facility
3) Can play games
4) less advertisement
And a host of others.
Remember that most of the jobs are posted by me.
You need to post your cv to the recruiter to get any response.
