Courses Offered :
Tamilnadu Maritime Academy offers the followings courses :
Eligibility :-Unmarried male and must have passed with aggregate of 40% Marks in 10th Standard/ S.S.L.C or equivalent examinations from Recognized Board with English, Mathematics and Science as subjects with minimum 40% marks in English language either in 10th or 12th or in the Degree/Diploma Courses conducted by Recognized Board.

Age :-Must have completed 17½ Years and should be below 25 Years on the date of commencement of course.Upper
age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Medical Fitness :- Should be medically fit as per M.S (Medical Examination Rules 2000) and medical test/sight test will be conducted by the Directorate General of Shipping approved doctors. Candidates having eyes problems/colour blindness etc. are not eligible for this Course.

Course Duration : 6 Months (25 Weeks).
Course Fee : Rs. 1,40,000/- (including tuition fees, boarding, lodging, uniform, handouts etc.)
Course Commencement : First working day in the month of January and July every year.
