Sub: - List of provisionally eligible candidates for written examination to the post of Overseer (Civil) under direct recruitment.

The applications, received in response to open advertisement Notice No.: ECL/CMD/C-6/Recruit/12/217 dated 29.10.2012 for the post of “Overseer (Civil)” have been screened, and the following applicants are provisionally found suitable for written test to be held on 15.11.2014(Saturday) from 11.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon at the following two centres at Asansol (Viz. DAV public school, Kanyapur, Asansol Dt-Burdhwan WB-713305 and Collegiate school, Kalyanpur satellite township, PO-Asansol,Dt-Burdhwan WB-713305).

Individual call letter will be sent to the candidates to their addresses for the above examination. The candidates found successful in written examination will be called for Interview in the ratio of 1:3 to be notified later on.

Effort has been taken by the screening committee to scrutinize the applications to the best of its ability on the face value of the documents/information furnished by the candidate. Never the less, inadvertently if any candidate in this list is found not confirming any of the criteria’s laid down in the advertisement, his candidature will be rejected at any stage with due intimation to the candidate concerned

Instructions for written examination:-
** Candidates will have to report at the Examination Center half an hour before the scheduled time.
** Candidate will have to show Admit Card at the time of entering the Examination Hall.
** Pen, Pencil and Eraser etc. are to be brought by the candidate himself.
** Mobile Phone would not be allowed to use in the examination Hall. If any candidate is found using the mobile phone in the examination hall then the candidature of the candidate will be cancelled.
** Candidate will not be allowed to enter into examination Hall with Book, Papers or any type of belongings.
** The Admit Card is issued provisionally subject to his/her satisfying the eligibility criteria.
** No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing the Written Test.
** Written test exam will consist of 50 marks multiple choice questions and the syllabus for written test will consist of General Knowledge and questions from respective trade/Subject.
** Candidates are required to produce valid photo identity proof in the examination hall.
** Qualifying marks in written examination for Gen Candidates is 50 % and for SC/ST/OBC 40% of total marks of written examination subject to ratio of 1:3 against vacancies.
** The candidates are required to answer by darkening only one circle with Black/Blue Ball Point Pen only in the OMR sheet provided to them. If one or more circle is darkened, the question will not be evaluated.
