Admissions 2015 :
IRMA will use CAT 2014 scores for admission to 2015-17 Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PRM) and 2015 Fellow Programme in Rural Management (FPRM).

Application forms for IRMA admissions will be available online from September 15th, 2014 onwards.

All applicants who apply to IRMA with CAT 2014 score will appear for IRMA admissions test on “Issues of Social Concern” subject to their application forms being complete and accepted by IRMA.

Last date for CAT 2014 registration is September 30th, 2014.

IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme of IRMA.

Post Graduate Programme in Rural Management :
IRMA's Programme in Rural Management prepares talented young managers to assume challenge-filled responsibilities in rural cooperatives and development organisations. This two-year residential programme leading to a Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) has been recognised as equivalent to a Master's degree by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The participants of this programme are highly valued in local, national and international cooperatives, NGOs, development organisations, and funding agencies. All participants are suitably placed in different organisations through our Campus Placement programme.

Fellow Programme in Rural Management :
The FPRM is a doctoral programme of minimum three years and maximum seven years duration. It is meant for students and professionals seeking careers in Research, Teaching and specialised knowledge-based positions in Rural Management Institutions.

The overall goals of the programme are to:
Promote scholarship and build knowledge in the field of Rural Management;
Develop scholars and teachers in rural management; and
Stimulate academic and research work in IRMA.

A strong coursework and doctoral thesis are the two major components of the programme. As a corollary, the Programme has a requirement of at least 3 years’ residency in the Campus. After completion of coursework every participant has to pass the comprehensive qualifying examination prior to embarking on thesis research. Additionally, every participant has to associate herself/ himself as a Teaching, or Research, or Editorial Assistant for a minimum duration.

Eligibility :
A graduate from any discipline, with a minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of education, having 50 per cent (45 per cent for SC/ST/dap (differently abled person)) aggregate marks at the graduation level can apply for admission. The percentage of aggregate marks is to be calculated as per the practice followed by the concerned university or institution. Those who are in the final year and who expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before July 14, 2014 can also apply.

Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for PRM. There is no management quota for admission to PRM at IRMA.

How IRMA will admit students for PRM 2014-16 FPRM 2014?

IRMA will use CAT 2013 scores for admission to 2014-16 Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PRM) and 2014 Fellow Programme in Rural Management (FPRM).

Hon’ble Supreme Court’s decision on IRMA admission test for 2014 PRM and FPRM is pending. IRMA 2014 aspirants are requested to appear for CAT 2013.

Application forms for IRMA admissions are available online and in hard copy at IRMA Admissions Office.

What is the Application fees for Indian Nationals?

There is a common application form for PRM and FPRM programmes. An applicant may apply for two programmes by using one application form. The fees applicable for the number of programmes are shown in below. Those candidates applying online by using payment gateway / Payment at SBI may get discount of Rs.75/-.

How to obtain Application Form from IRMA for PRM 2014-16 and FPRM – 2014?

An applicant can opt for one of the following options:
a) Apply online and pay through payment gateway.
b) Take a print out of SBI challan available on IRMA website in the admission link. Make payment at any branch of SBI by using the challan. SBI would then issue a unique ID number. Use this unique ID number and apply online through IRMA website.
d) Printed application material (prospectus, application forms, etc.) may be obtained from Admissions Office, IRMA, Anand - 388 001 on payment of full fees. (All the payments to IRMA should be made in the form of a demand draft favouring ‘IRMA’ and it should be payable at “Anand”).
