(I) Norms for Group ‘C’ recruitment (5 posts) in PB 1 5,200-20,200 Grade pay 2,400/2,800 :
Educational Qualification: Graduate
Sports Achievements - Eligibility Norms:
a. Represented the Country in Olympic Games (Senior category) OR
b. Obtained at least 3rd position by representing the Country in the World Cup (Junior/Senior) World Championships (Junior/Senior)/Asian Games (Senior) / Commonwealth Games (Senior).

(II.) Norms for Group ‘C’ recruitment (16 posts) in PB 1 5,200-20,200 Grade Pay 1,900/2,000 :
Educational Qualification: Minimum SSC / Matriculate (10th pass).
Sports Achievements - Eligibility Norms:
a. Represented the Country in the World Cup (Junior/ Senior), World Championships (Junior/Senior), Asian Games (Senior) & Commonwealth Games (Senior) OR
b. Represented the country in the Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior)/ Asian Championship/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior)/South Asian Federation (SAF) Games (Senior), USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior category) and obtained at least 3rd position. OR
c. Represented a State or equivalent unit in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships and obtained at least 3rd Position OR
d. Represented a State in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association and obtained at least 3rd position OR
e. Represented a University in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities and obtained at least 3rd position OR
f. Represented in Federation Cup Championships (senior category) and obtained 1st position.

III. Norms for Erstwhile Group ‘D’ recruitment (33 posts) in PB-1 5,200-20,200 Grade Pay 1,800/- :
Educational Qualification: Minimum Matriculation (10th pass) or ITI or equivalent.
Sports Achievements - Eligibility Norms:
a. Represented the country in the Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior)/ Asian Championship /Asia Cup(Junior/Senior)/South Asian Federation (SAF) Games (Senior)/ USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior category) OR
b. Represented in Federation Cup Championships (Senior category) and obtained at least 3rd position OR
c. Represented a State or equivalent unit except in Marathon & Cross country in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships OR
d. Represented all Units & Districts of the State in the Senior State Championship and obtained at least 3rd position.

Age Limit :- Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01.07.2014.

Period of reckoning sports achievements :- Only those Sportspersons who have acquired the sports achievements - eligibility norms in the championship on or after 01/04/2012 and are active will be eligible to apply for the appointment against Sports Quota. For validity of sports achievement, concluding day of the championship/event shall be taken into account.

Examination Fee : Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order of 100/- for all grade pay.
