DIPLOMA LATERAL ENTRY FOR DAY & EVENING ENGINEERING COLLEGES - DCET-2013

Applications are invited from the candidates who have passed Diploma Examination conducted by the Board of Technical Examinations in Karnataka or an equivalent Examination in Karnataka for admission to the Second year/ Third semester of the day and Evening Engineering Degree courses for the academic year 2013-14 in Government, University, Private Aided and Private Un-Aided Engineering Colleges in Karnataka State.

ACADEMIC ELIGIBILITY (DAY COLLEGES) :
The applicant should be a holder of Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering specified in the SHEDULE 1 (Refer Website) awarded by the Board of Technical Examination in Karnataka or an equivalent Examination in Karnataka and has passed the final year Examination with an aggregate of Minimum 45% marks (aggregate of 40% in case of Schedule caste/Schedule Tribe/Backward classes as specified in the relevant Government order).

ADMISSION TO ARCHITECTURE COURSE (ONLY FOR DAY ENGINEERING COLLEGES) :
Candidates should have passed 10+3(Any Diploma Stream). In respect of Architecture he/she should have secured not less than 50% of the marks in the final year Diploma Examination. In respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates it is 45% and appeared for National Aptitude test (NATA) conducted by the council of Architecture & has secured 40% of marks.

Candidates before filling the application must go through below instructions.

Before filling the online application form, make the fees payment through NEFT with the following Details :-

Amount :- 650 for categories GM, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B

After remitting the fee, you will be provided with a unique 'UTR-Journal No.' which you have to fill in the Application form. Any Application without a valid 'UTR-Journal No.' will not be considered as a valid Application.

Note : You will not be allowed to fill the Application unless you have paid the prescribed fee.

New Application : Click New Application button for fresh application and carefully fill Bank, Personal, Postal Address, Course Details, Qualifying Exam Details, etc., Enter the Security Code & click NEXT button to go to Preview page.On successful submission of the above details , you will receive your Diploma-CET ID and Password through an automated E-Mail on your registered e-mail address which you can use it at any point of time to upload your further details or edit your information at any point of time.

Edit Application : In the Preview page Click Edit Application button to change any details in your Application if required. After verifying the details in your application to be correct, click NEXT button to upload your Scanned Passport Size Photo and Scanned Signature separately.

Note :
1. Unless you upload your photo and signature, your Application will not be considered.
2. Once you click Next button you cannot change any details in your Application.
