Procedure :
1) Please visit the website to download your Hall Ticket starting from 25.08.2013.
2) Please click the link "JIPMER Staff Nurse Recruitment-2013" available in the website.
3) Please click the second link " Hall Ticket for Off-Line Candidates".
4) You will be directed to another page wherein you will be asked to enter your name or you may enter your date of birth in the "dd/mm/yy" format.
5) Once you enter the above details, please click the "Submit" button.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES :
1. This Hall ticket is purely provisional and subject to the condition that, if ineligibility is detected at any stage or if any information provided by you is not found to be authentic on scrutiny and verification of the application submitted by you, your candidature will be cancelled forthwith.
2. You should check the particulars printed in this Hall Ticket carefully, especially your category. Errors, if any, should be immediately reported in writing to the Director, JIPMER, for rectification.
3. You are required to report to the venue of examination well in advance. You will not be permitted to enter the examination hall 15 minutes after the commencement of the examination.
4. Entry into the examination hall will be strictly subject to the production of this Hall Ticket. You will not be permitted to enter the examination hall in the case of missing/tampered/photocopy of Hall Ticket.
5. Any other article including the envelope of the Hall Ticket shall not be brought into the examination hall.
6. You are required to mark the answer only with the Ball Point Pen provided from the Institute.
7. You are required to enter in the OMR Answer Sheet your Roll Number and Question Booklet Code and should darken the appropriate circles for the same.
8. You should sign in the box provided for your signature in the Hall Ticket in the presence of the Gazetted Officer attesting your photo.
9. You should affix your signature in the box provided for signature in the OMR Answer Sheet.
10. You should enter the Serial Number of the OMR Answer Sheet and the Question Booklet Code in the box showing your Roll Number in the Attendance Sheet and sign against the same.
11. You should verify your address in the Attendance Sheet before signing the same.
12. You should affix your left hand index finger impression in the Attendance Sheet as well as OMR Answer Sheet in the space provided for the same.
13. The written examination will be on MCQ pattern. There will be 100 objective type questions carrying Four (4) marks each. Negative marks will be there for incorrect answer.
14. One (1) mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Marking more than one answer against one question will be treated as incorrect.
15. Bringing Cell phones, Pagers, Calculators, Alarm clocks, Ear Phones etc. into the examination hall is strictly prohibited. No arrangements will be made for safe keeping of any of your belongings by the duty staff at the examination venue.
16. You should not attempt to give or to obtain assistance of any kind during the examination.
17. You should not copy or note down the questions anywhere during the examination. Such attempts, as well as removing pages from question booklet will lead to your immediate eviction from the examination hall and disqualification from the selection process.
18. Your OMR Answer Sheet shall not be folded, tampered with or smudged since such types of Answer Sheets may not be properly scanned by the OMR Scanner. The Institute will not be responsible for such technical errors happening out of soiling/mutilation/tampering of the OMR Answer Sheet by you.
19. The candidate’s copy of your original Hall Ticket must be carefully preserved and produced on demand at any point of time till the entire selection process for this post is over.

Tie Break:
Negative marks will be used for tie breaking at the 1st instance. Those who have lesser negative marks shall be ranked higher in case of tie with equal marks. In case of continued tie in marks, the older in age shall be ranked higher.

Note:
Selection of candidates will be done solely on the basis of his/her performance in the written test. The results of the written test as well as the list of Selected candidates will be published in the JIPMER website jipmer.edu.in.
