ADMISSION NOTIFICATION
Applications are invited for admission to the Academic Year 2013 - 14 for the following courses;

01.Course : Course Master of Education (Hearing Impairment) [M.Ed.(HI)]
Duration : One year
Eligibility :
B.Ed (HI) or any other equivalent degree from a UGC recognized University with 50% aggregate marks OR
B.Ed. (SE-DE) (HI) recognized by RCI with 50% aggregate marks and one year teaching experience after completion of the course OR
B.Ed. (Gen) with 50% aggregate marks and D.Ed. (HI) /
D.Ed.SE (DHH) or equivalent with 50% aggregate marks.

02.Course : Course Master of Audiology & Speech - Language Pathology [M.ASLP]
Duration : Two years
Eligibility :
i) Bachelor of Audiology & Speech - Language Pathology or any equivalent degree recognized by the respective University and RCI.
ii) Internship mandatory post May / June 2001.

03.Course : Course Bachelor of Education / Special Education (Hearing Impairment) [B.Ed.(HI) / B.Ed Special Education ( HI)]
Duration : One year
Eligibility :
i) For Mumbai and Kolkata eligibility is degree in any discipline or equivalent from any UGC recognized University and on the basis of merit in the entrance examination.
ii) For Secunderabad center the eligibility is degree in any discipline ( B.Sc / BA/ B.Com from Osmania University or its equivalent from any other University ), with minimum aggregate marks of 45% for Gen/OBC/PWDs & 40% for SC / ST category. Selection is based on entrance examination conducted by Osmania University or on merit basis ( marks obtained in degree for optional subjects only)

04.Course : Course Bachelor of Audiology & Speech - Language Pathology [B.ASLP]
Duration : Four years
Eligibility :
i) For Mumbai center the eligibility is 10+2/HSC passed with Physics, Chemistry & any one of the following: Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Electronics and Psychology.
ii (a) For Kolkata center the eligibility is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Mathematics / Computer Science and English and any other fifth subject.
(b) Must be 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
iii) For New Delhi center the eligibility is passed or appearing in 12th class from CBSE or equivalent with minimum aggregate 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
iv) For Secunderabad centre the eligibility is 10+2 passed with Physics, Chemistry and any of the following; Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Electronics, Psychology. Selection is based on entrance examination conducted by Osmania University or on merit basis ( marks obtained in 10+2 optional subjects).

05.Course : Course Diploma in Education Special Education (Deaf & Hard of Hearing) [D.Ed.SE(DHH)]
Duration : Two years
Eligibility :
10+2 passed or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education with minimum marks of;
45% marks for General / OBC
40% marks for SC/ST/PH

06.Course : Course Diploma in Hearing, Language & Speech [DHLS]
Duration : One year
Eligibility : 10+2 passed with PCB / PCM or its equivalent from a recognized Board of Education.

07.Course : Course Diploma in Sign Language Interpreter Course [DSLIC]
Duration : One year
Eligibility : 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board of Education. Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualifications.

08.Course : Course PG Diploma in Media and Disability Communication [PGDMDC]
Duration : One year
Eligibility : PG Degree / Diploma or Graduation in Journalism / Communication / Public Relations / Advertising / Mass Media / Electronic Media from a recognized University / Institute with minimum of 50% marks.

09.Course : Course Post Graduate Certificate Course in Auditory Verbal Therapy [PGCAVT]
Duration : Six months
Eligibility : B.ASLP / B.Ed. (HI) or Graduate with DSE (HI) / DHLS / DTY (HI) registered with RCI.

10.Course : Course Master of Arts in Disability Communication & Deaf Studies ( MADCDS)
Duration : Two years
Eligibility : Post Graduate Degree or Graduation from a recognized Institute / University in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks
