Note : Please note that Admit card for written test has been already dispatched through Speed Post/ Registered Post. Those who have not received it , may please download admit card from here.
Candidates can check their status/download admit card by choosing any one of options as given below
OPTION 1 : For all candidates applied online or offline
Note : Candidates are requested to check their name in the list of their respective post applied. If you will not found your name in eligible list please also check in the list of Not eligible list. List is given in Alphabetical order, you can also search your name by clicking on the starting character of your name.
OPTION 2 : For all candidates applied online only
Enter Control No. and Click on the Submit Button
OPTION 3: For all candidates applied online or offline
Enter Date of Birth and Select Post then Click on the Submit Button
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS/INFORMATION TO CANDIDATE:
1) Candidate must bring this Admit Card to the Examination Centre. No candidate will be allowed entry to the Examination Centre without Admit Card. The candidate is advised to keep a copy of this Admit Card safely with him/her for future reference, as this Admit Card shall be collected from the candidate at the Examination Centre.
2) In case the photograph/Signature is not printed above or is not visible/clear, the candidate should affix his/her recent passport size photograph in the space provided and get it self-attested.
3) The candidate must also bring any one of the Photo ID proof like College ID card/PAN card/Driving license/Voter ID etc., in original, for verification.
4) The candidate must bring two Blue/Black Ball point Pens for the said examination. The answers of Multiple-choice objective-type Questions are required to be marked in the Computerized OMR Answer Sheet with Blue/Black Ball point Pen only.
5) The candidate should reach the Examination Centre at 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination. The Computerized OMR Answer Sheet will be supplied to the candidate 15 minutes before the commencement of examination for filling up necessary details therein. No candidate will be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after expiry of 30 minutes from the schedule time of commencement of examination.
6) Candidates are advised to make sure about the location of their Examination Centre in advance so that they reach in time for the examination.
7) Possession and use of electronic devices such as Calculator, Pager, Digital Dairy, Log Tables, Books, Notes, etc. are strictly prohibited during the examination.
8) Please do not bring Mobile Phone at the Examination Centre and Examination Centre will not be responsible for its safety/loss.
9) Your admission to the examination is purely on ‘Provisional’ basis subject to checking of the eligibility criteria at the time of selection. Mere possession of the Admit Card and appearing in the written examination does not give any right to the candidate to claim that he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria. The candidate appearing in the written examination should satisfy himself/herself regarding fulfillment of their eligibility criteria as mentioned in the Advt. No 48/2012 published in Employment News dated 31st March 2012 to avoid disqualification at later stage of recruitment.
10) In case of any discrepancy in the details printed on this Admit card, please send an email to ignourectt2012@gmail.com mentioning your query and must also mention your Roll No, Post applied along with the query. Relevant correction if any, will be made only on your Online Admit Card and download the same from the IGNOU’s website. No Duplicate Admit card will be issued at the Examination Centre. Last date for receiving such email/queries is : 08/02/2013.
11) Candidates must read the Instructions given on the Sample of OMR Answer Sheet attached with this Admit Card. Syllabus of Written Examination is also attached herewith for your information.
12) Request for change of Exam Centre will not be entertained under any circumstances and the candidate will have to appear at the allotted Exam Centre only at their own expenses.
13) No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the said Written Examination.
14) Please hand over the Question booklet, OMR Answer sheet and Answer Sheet of Subjective Part (if applicable) along with Admit Card to the invigilator before leaving Examination Hall.
15) The candidate shall be required to sign in the space provided in the Admit Card and also in the Attendance Sheet in the presence of the invigilator in Exam Hall.
16) Any canvassing by the candidate would entail his/her disqualification.
17) Decision of IGNOU in respect of all matters pertaining to this recruitment test would be final and binding on all candidates.
18) There will be one Question paper and candidate has to attempt multiple-choice objective-type questions on OMR Answer sheet and Subjective Question (applicable only for the posts of Assistant Registrar, Proof Reader, and Translator) on Answer sheet provided separately in total duration of 3 hours only. Each multiple-choice objective-type question shall carry one mark and there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. The Question Paper for different post would be as per the following pattern:

Type of Question Paper : Multiple-choice objective- type questions (MCQs) – Section-I; and Subjective Paper – Section-II
No of Questions : 100 (MCQs) + 5 questions to be attempted out of 10 Questions
Duration : 3 Hours
Name of Post : Executive Assistant (Data Processing) (DEO), Production Assistant (PRA), Semi-Professional Assistant (SPA), Technician (TEC), Junior-Assistant-Cum-Typist (JAT), and Stenographer (ST)
Type of Question Paper : Multiple-choice objective- type questions (MCQs) only
No of Questions : 150 (MCQs)
Duration : 3 Hours
19) Blind candidates are required to arrange their own Scribe (if required) subject to production of an Affidavit that Scribe’s Qualification is less that of the candidate. Such candidates will be allotted 30 Minutes extra beyond the normal time limit prescribed for Written Exam.
20) Those candidates who are eligible for more than one post, separate Admit Card has been issued for each post.

There is no information regarding result on the website. Kindly touch with the site regularly for updates.
