Note:
1. In case of two or more candidates scoring equal marks, the seniority is determined by the age of the candidate.

2. The number of candidates selected for interview is in the ratio of 1:2 (vacant post : candidates provisionally selected for interview). Hence, there may be cases where candidates secured marks equal to the cut-off mark of their respective category but may not have been selected for the interview. The reason for this is that, since the ratio of 1:2 is being followed, candidates who have secured marks equal to the cutoff mark, but are in excess of the number required to be selected for interview in that category, would not get qualified for the interview.

3. In case, no candidate is available for a particular category, it is filled up by following the General Rules for the Tamil Nadu State Subordinate Service Rules.
