BECOME A JUNIOR COMMISSIONED OFFICER IN THE ARMY AS RELIGIOUS TEACHER
Applications are invited from candidates for recruitment of Religious Teachers in the Army as Junior Commissioned Officer for RRT 71 course. Religious Teachers preach religious scriptures to troops and conduct various rituals at Regimental/Unit religious institutions. Their duties include attending funerals, ministering to the sick in hospitals, reading prayers with the convalescents, visiting soldiers undergoing sentence, giving special religious instructions to children and enlisted boys besides attending generally to the religious instructions and welfare of Officers, Soldiers and their families.
Age : Must not be below 27 years or over 34 years for civilian candidates and between 25 years to 34 years for remustered candidates as on first day of Recruitment Rally.
Educational & Language Qualifications : The Minimum educational qualifications applicable to candidates applying for post is as under :-
Pandit :
(i) Candidates with minimum educational qualification of graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
(ii) In addition candidate must also be qualified Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi or equivalent standard.
(iii) Those who have passed BA with Sanskrit / Hindi as one of the elective(Main) subjects but have not done Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi are also eligible.
Maulvi : Candidates with the minimum educational qualification of graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. In addition candidate must also be qualified as Maulvi Alim in Arabic / Adib Alim in Urdu or equivalent standard. Those who have passed BA with Arabic / Urdu as one of the elective (Main) subject but have not done Maulvi Alim in Arabic / Adib Alim in Urdu are also eligible.
Padre : Candidates with the minimum educational qualification of graduation from a recognized university. In addition candidates should have been ordained priest by the appropriate ecclesiastical authority and is still on the approved list of the local Bishop.
Physical Standards : Minimum Physical Standards (i) Height – 160 cm (ii) Weight - 50 Kg. (iii) Chest -77 cm. (iv) Physical Fitness Tests (PFT) -candidate should be able to run 1600 meter in eight minutes.

JOIN ARMY MEDICAL CORPS AS SHORT SERVICE COMMISSIONED (SSC) OFFICER FOR A PROMISING AND CHALLENGING CAREER : 2013
Applications are invited from Indian citizens both male and female, who have passed their final MBBS examination in first or second attempt and completed internship for grant of Short Service Commission in the Army Medical Corps. Applicants who have taken more than two chances in final MBBS Examination need not apply.

Method Of Selection : Eligible candidates will be called for interview by a Board of Officers in the month of April-May at Army Hospital (Research &Referral) New Delhi near Dhaula Kuan, Delhi Cantt. to assess their suitability and merit for grant of Short Service Commission in the Armed Forces Medical Services. The candidates appearing for interview for the first time will be paid to and fro sleeper-class railway/bus fare.
Physical & Medical Standard : Every candidate on his / her having been qualified in interview will be produced before a duly constituted Medical Board by DGAFMS for examining his or her medical fitness as per laid down standards.

Applications are invited from UNMARRIED/MARRIED male and UNMARRIED female and also from the Wards of Battle Casualities of Army Personnel, for grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army.

AGE LIMIT : 19 to 25 years (born not earlier than 02 Jul 88 and not later than 01 Jul 94).
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AND OTHER CRITERIA :
(a) FOR NCC 'C' CERTIFICATE HOLDERS :
(i) Educational Qualification :
(aa) Degree of a recognised University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.
(ab) Those studying in third year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first two years. Such students will need to secure overall agreegate of minimum 50% marks if selected in interview failing which their candidature will be cancelled. The candidate must posses graduation degree at the time of joining training at OTA. The candidates studying in the third year of graduation should be able to produce the degree within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at OTA. Such candidate will be inducted for training at OTA on additional bond basis for recovery of the cost of training as notified from time to time as well as stipened and pay and allowances paid, in case they fail to produce the requisite degree certificate.
(ii) Service in NCC : Should have served for minimum two academic years in the senior Division/Wing of N.C.C.
(iii) Grading : Should have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.
(b) FOR WARD OF BATTLE CASUALTIES OF ARMY PERSONNEL :
(i) Educational Qualification : Degree of a recognised University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.
(ii) NCC 'C' certificate not required.
(iii) Applicants under category of Wards of Battle Casualties to send their applications direct to Dte Gen of Recruiting/ Rtg- 6, NCC Entry, West Block-III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066.
(iv) Eligibility for wards of battle casualties and also document to be attached alongwith the application form are as under.
(a) A letter to the effect that the parent has been killed/wounded / reported missing in action issued by MP/Dte/Respective Regimental Records and a copy of Part II Order notifying injuries and being classified as battle casualties in case of serving/ medically boarded out pers.
(b) The vacancies under wards of battle casualties are available to wards (sons and daughters including legally adopted) and specified as under
(aa) Killed in action
(ab) Died of wound or injuries (Other than selfinflicted)
(ac) Wounded or Injured (Other than self-inflicted).

(c) Relation Certificate issued by Records / MP Dte.

PHYSICAL STANDARD :
HEIGHT AND WEIGHT : The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. with co-related weight and for women candidate is 152 cms and 42 Kg. In case of candidates belonging to the North East and Hilly Areas like Gorkhas, Nepalies, Assamies and Garhwalis, the height will relaxed by 5 cms and weight commemsurate with reduced height. In case of candidates from Lakshadweep the minimum acceptable height can be reduced by 2 cms.
VISUAL STANDARDS :
(i) The minimum acceptable visual acuity are: Distant Vision (corrected) better eye 6/6, worse eye 6/18, myopia of not more than minus 3.50 for men and 5.50 for women including astigmatism.
(ii) Candidates who have under-gone or have the evidence of having undergone Radial Keratotomy to improve the visual acuity, will be permanently rejected. Candidates aged 20 years or above who have undergone Laser Surgery for correction of refractive error will be considered for commission in Army If they fulfill following criteria ;
(i) Uncomplicated stable LASIK/Excimer (PRK) laser procedure done for. Myopia or Hypermetropia, with stable refraction for a period of six months after the procedure.
(ii) A healthy retina.
(iii) Corrected vision should be 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in worse eye, with maximum residual refraction of : ± 1.50 in any meridian for myopia or hypermetropia.
(iv) Axial length within permissible limits.
HOW TO APPLY :

ii) Applications should be posted to the nearest OC, NCC Unit from where NCC ‘C’ certificate has been issued.

Medical Standards: A candidate should have robust physique and mental health, chest should be well developed with minimum 5 cm expansion, should have normal hearing in each ear. Should have sufficient number of natural healthy gums and teeth, i.e 14 dental points. Should not have diseases like deformity of bones, hydrocele, varicose veins or piles. Should be in medical category SHAPE-1 in terms of Special Army Order 6/S/2005/ Rtg dt 05 Aug 2005 as amended from time to time.
Written Examination: Only those candidates selected in the screening and declared medically fit will be permitted to appear in the written examination which will be conducted at HQ Recruiting Zone/ IRO Delhi Cantt on 30 Jun 2013
Teaching Aptitude Test/Interview The candidates declared successful in the above written examination and placed in the merit list will appear for Teaching Aptitude Test and Interview to be conducted at AEC Training College & Centre Pachmarhi (MP). Candidates qualifying in the Written Test, Teaching Aptitude Test and Interview and placed in the merit list will be enrolled in the Army Educational Corps.

Applications are invited from gainfully employed young men for an opportunity of donning the uniform and serving the nation as Territorial Army Officers, based on the concept of enabling motivated young men to serve in a military environment without having to sacrifice their primary professions. Selection Procedure : Civilian Candidates
i) Candidates whose applications forms are found correct will be called for screening, by a Preliminary Interview Board (PIB), at their respective TA Group Headquarters.
ii) Candidates selected by PIB should provide brief BIO-DATA to include details about their employment with monthly income from all sources at the time of documentation immediately after PIB.
iii) Successful candidates will further undergo a Service Selection Board (SSB) and Medical Board for final selection.
NOTE:
Candidate who passed written test of PIB are required to bring the following attested documents at the time of interview;
i) Certified copy of educational qualification certificates, all certificates and mark sheets beyond matric.

Indian Army Short Service Commission In Remount Veterinary Corps
Applications are invited from qualified male veterinary graduates for Short Service Commission (SSC) in Remount Veterinary Corps of Indian Army as per the terms and conditions described below;
Age Limit : 21-32 years as on the last date of the applications i.e 30 Aug 2013.
Minimum Educational Qualification : BVSc/BVSc & AH degree from any of the recognized Indian University or its equivalent foreign Degree (i.e. the candidate must possess recognized veterinary qualification included in the first or second schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984).
Method Of Selection :
(a) Short listing of applications and SSB Interviews : Initial screening and short listing of applications will be done at Directorate General Remount Veterinary Service, Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) before forwarding them to Recruiting Directorate, IHQ of MoD (Army). Candidates whose applications are found in order shall be detailed to appear for the Service Selection Board on a specified date.
(b) Two stage selection procedure : On arrival at the Selection Centre, the candidates will be administered Stage I of the “Two Stage Testing Procedure”. Candidates failing in Stage I will be sent back on the same day and those who qualify will be detailed to undergo Group Test, Psychological Test and Interview which will extend for duration of 05 days. Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit, will be inducted for training in the order of merit depending upon the number of vacancies available.
(c) Merit list : It is to be noted that mere qualifying at the SSB interview does not confirm final selection. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates at SSB’s and as such higher educational qualifications, previous performances have no role to play. Those high in the merit list and who come within the stipulated vacancies and also medically fit are issued joining instructions.
How To Apply :
(a) Application on plain paper (21 cm x 36 cm) duly typed as per the format given in the advertisement.
(b) The envelope containing application should be “Superscribed in Red Ink” indicating clearly “Application for Short Service Commission in RVC”.
(c) Application should be posted by ordinary post to reach at the following address;

JOIN ARMY DENTAL CORPS AS SHORT SERVICE COMMISSIONED (SSC) OFFICER FOR A PROMISING AND CHALLENGING CAREER
Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for grant of Short Service Commission in Army Dental Corps (AD Corps).
Total No. of vacancies : 37
Eligibility :
(a) Candidates must be BDS/MDS (with minimum 55% marks in final year BDS) from a College/University recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI).
(b) Should have completed one year rotatory Internship recognized by DCI by 31 Aug 2013.
(c) Should be in possession of Permanent Dental Registration Certificate valid at least upto 31 Dec 2013.
(d) Should be less than 45 years of age as on 31 Dec 2013.
(e) Should be medically fit in all respects for service in the Armed Forces.
Selection Procedure :
(a) Short-listing for interview: Candidates found eligible will be shortlisted based on their Final year BDS marks and attempts taken in Final year BDS. Short-listed candidates will be called for interview.
(b) Medical Examination: Candidates provisionally placed on merit list after interview by Selection Board will be brought before a Medical Board for ascertaining their Medical Fitness. The decision of the Medical Board will be final.

ii) Interested candidates should apply on a separate plain paper giving particulars in the application form as per attached specimen format, to the following address;

General Instructions :
1. Attested Copies of the following should be enclosed with the application and originals should be brought at the time of interview;
(a) BDS & MDS degrees.
(b) Matriculation Certificate for proof of Date of birth.
(c) BDS final year mark-sheet.
(d) Internship completion certificate.
(e) Dental Registration Certificate duly renewed upto 31 Dec 2013.
(f) Two additional identical passport size recent photographs.
(g) Authority under which BDS/MDS Dental College is recognized by DCI.
(h) ‘Number of Attempts in final year BDS’ Certificate from head of institute.
(j) Any other relevant documents.
2. Candidates are required to use identical passport size recent photographs (05 more photographs will be required, in case you are short listed and called for interview).
3. Enclose one self-addressed post card for acknowledgement.
4. Enclose one self-addressed envelope of size 23 cms x 10 cms with Rs.6/- postal stamps affixed for sending you reply.
5. No Demand Draft/cheque is required along with application.
