Applications are invited from Sportspersons, as per eligibility conditions stipulated below, in the prescribed format for recruitment to erstwhile Group ‘D’ posts against Sports Quota in Diesel Loco Modernisation Works (Indian Railways) Patiala – 147 003.

Age Limit : The age limit for recruitment is 18 to 25 years as on 01.01.2013.

Minimum Educational qualification : Passed Matriculation (10th Pass) or ITI or equivalent. However, as a special case, outstanding sportspersons. who are Class 8th passed can be considered for recruitment in (-)1S Pay Band without any Grade Pay.

Medical Fitness required in Class : Cey-Two

Kabaddi :
i) Represented the Country in any of the following championships/events;
Commonwealth Championships (Junior /Senior Category)
Asian Championships /Asia Cup (Junior /Senior Category)
South Asian Federations (SAF)Games (Senior Category)
USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category) OR
ii) At least 3rd position in Federation Cup Championships(Senior Category) OR
iii) Represented a State or equivalent Unit, in Senior/Youth/ Junior National Championships.
(Note :- Junior National Kabaddi Championship for men in age group of Under – 19 has been recognized by Railway Sports Promotion Board.) OR
iv) At least 3rd position in Senior State Championships for all Units and Districts of the State.

Fee : A crossed Indian Postal Order/Demand draft for 40/- (Rupees forty only) towards Processing Fee drawn in favour of FA & CAO, DMW/Patiala, payable at Patiala should be enclosed.

ii) The application complete in all respects along with enclosures and two recent passport size photographs, one affixed at the top of the application on right side self attested and one attached to the application and also self attested photocopies of proof/ certificate of date of birth, educational qualification and achievements in sports events should be sent by ordinary post addressed to

iii) The envelope should be superscribed as;
