National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Chennai, a technical arm of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India, is functioning with broad objective of promoting technology development in various mission mode objective activities related to Ocean Engineering and Ocean Resource utilisation. Name of the post : Scientific Assistant Grade – A (Electronics)
Pay Scale : PB-2–Rs.9,300 – 34,800 + Grade Pay 4,200

Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years

Essential Criteria : Diploma in Electronics after 10 +2 (with 60% marks) or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized Board or University

Job Requirement :
i) Usage of standard electronic and measuring equipments, data acquisition system, knowledge of lab view, ORCAD / equivalent preferred.
ii) Embedded system development (Software & Hardware)
iii) Maintenance of electronics instruments/equipments and data analysis.

ii) The candidate has to fill the application online and upon submission, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number. After allotment of Registration Number, the candidate has to take a print out, duly sign and send along with copies of the following certificates by 02.09.2013. Online applications must invariably be followed with hard copy along with enclosures.
The application without the following enclosures shall summarily be rejected.
