Project : Evaluation Study of an Agricultural Project/Scheme

Qualifications : Ph.D/M Phil (Agriculture/Agriculture Economics)/ MSc (Agriculture) / B Tech (Agriculture) from a reputed institute, with an inclination to work on development issues

Required skills/experience :
** Understanding of agriculture/ agricultural policies/agriculture interventions/strategies for agriculture development etc.
** Experience in conducting field surveys/focused group discussions etc
** Data tabulation and analysis.
** Secondary research and report writing skills.
** Proficiency in MS-Office and other tools, preferably with Knowledge\of SPSS/SAS/STRATA.
** Self motivated and effective time manager

Job Description :
** Assist in designing survey and questionnaire.
** Attend meetings with various government departments, implementation agencies, co-operative societies, beneficiaries (farmers), etc.
** Tabulate and analyze data collected through surveys
** Perform desk research and compilation of literature reviews
** Develop case studies from field study
** Prepare draft report with the help of findings from the analysis.
** Document best practices and success stories
** Document the minutes of meetings and communication with external agencies.
** Prepare a data repository of the study

Location of Work : Hyderabad, India with travel in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
