Applications are invited in the prescribed form from bonafide citizens of India for selection of candidates for recruitment to the under mentioned posts;

1.Name of the post : Principal Group-A
No. of post : 04 (four)
Educational Qualification :
(i) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale where grading system is followed) from a recognized University.
(ii) A Ph. D in concerned/allied/relevant discipline(s) with evidence of published work and research guidance.
(iii) Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of 15 years in teaching/ research/ administration in Universities, Colleges and other Institutions of Higher Education. (iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) Based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), as set out in the UGC regulation-2010 at Appendix-III for direct recruitment of Professors in Colleges.

2.Name of the post : Associate Professor Group-A
No. of post : 03(three)
Educational Qualification & Experience :
(i) As Assistant Professor in respective branch for 4(four) years in a recognized Medical College.
(ii) Minimum of 2(two) Research Publications in Indexed/National Journals. Provided that these Research Publications are published/accepted for publication in the Journals by the National Associations/Societies of the respective specialties as the First/Second Author during the tenure of the Assistant Professor.

3.Name of the post : Principal Group-B
No. of post : 10(ten)
Educational Qualification :
(i) Degree in any branch of Engineering preferably with one year’s professional or teaching experience or
(ii) Diploma in any branch of Engineering with at least 5(five) years professional and /or teaching experience in an Engineering Workshop or an Industrial Institute.
Desirable : Knowledge in Bengali.

4.Name of the post : Assistant Professor,Group-A
No. of post : 05(five)
Educational Qualification :- BE/B.Tech and ME/ M.Tech in relevant branch with First class or equivalent either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech from AICTE recognized Institution.

5.Name of the post : Scientific Officer, Group-A
No. of post : 01(one)
Educational Qualification :
Essential (i) First Class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science Engineering) or First Class Post Graduate Degree in Science (Zoology/Botany/Physics/Chemistry/Biotechnology) from a recognized University.
(ii) Minimum 5(five) years working experience under any Organization of repute in responsible position in the field related to Science, Technology & Environment applications in Govt. or those having Master’s Degree in Engineering or Doctorate in Science, experience required would be only 2(two) years in the manner prescribed above.
Desirable : Basic knowledge in Computer Application.

6.Name of the post : Blind Educator
No. of post : 5(five)
Educational Qualification :-
Essential :(i) Graduate of a recognized University.
(ii) One academic year training in education of the Blind conducted by the Government of India, Department of Social Welfare.
(iii) Knowledge of Bengali.
Desirable : (i) At least one year’s teaching experience in a recognized School/Institution.

7.Name of the post : Speech Educator Group-C
No. of post : 4(four)
Educational qualification :
Essential : (i) Graduate of a recognized University.
(ii) Training in Education of the deaf from the I.S.I., Calcutta or from any other recognized training Institution.
(iii) At least 3 years of teaching experience in a recognized School.
(iv) Knowledge of Bengali.

8.Name of the post : Inspector, Motor Vehicles Group-C
No. of post : 01(one)
Educational qualification :
Essential : (i) Passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized University/Board.
(ii) Passed 3(three) years Diploma course in Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering from recognized Institution.
(iii) Should have knowledge in M.V.Act, 1989.
(iv) Should have knowledge in Bengali.
Desirable : Be a holder of Driving License for Motor Vehicles.

Upper age Limit as on 09-11-2012 :
SI.No. 1 & 2 : Upto 50 years.
SI.No. 3 : Upto 45 years.
SI.No. 4 to 8 : Upto 40 years.

Fee :Fee is to be paid to the Account No.31176521319 of the State Bank of India (core banking branches) in favour of the Secretary, Tripura Public Service Commission.

i) Application format can be downloaded from the TPSC Website.
ii) Application in the prescribed form duly filled in by the candidate and 2(two) copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card along with the copies of self attested certificates, self addressed envelope bearing postage stamp of `5/- (rupees five) is to be submitted to the Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat by 5.00 PM of the closing date (09-11-2012).

Which documents do I need to send?

The candidates, who will send application by post, are also required to attach to the application; a self-addressed Post-card indicating the Advertisement No. and name of the post applied for. Application will be acknowledged by the Commission by returning this card to the candidate after indicating the Registration No. allotted to the candidate. No separate acknowledgement other than this card will be sent to them.
