Applications are invited for the following posts on contract initially for a period of six months.

1.Name of the post : Academic Consultant
No. of post : 18
Qualifications :
Academic Consultants for above mentioned Subjects (Except Computer Science) :
(i) Master’s Degree of a recognized University or an equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign University in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade (for SC/ST/disabled candidates 50% marks or its equivalent grade) .
(ii) The candidate must possess good academic record i.e 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree Examination. SC/ST candidates having NET/SLET/SET or having Ph.D. degree shall be entitled for relaxation of 5% marks.
(iii) The candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
(iv) Holders of Ph.D degree as on the date of Notification of UGC Regulations 2009 along with those who are awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with these UGC regulations 2009 shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
Academic Consultants for Computer Science :
(i) First class Master’s Degree in the Computer Science or in appropriate branch of Engineering & Technology.
(ii) Candidates possessing teaching/research/ industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed organization or candidates who have presented papers at conference and/or in referred Journals will be given preference.

2.Name of the post : Technical Officers
No. of post : 04
Qualifications :
i) Technical Officer-Hardware/Server administrator :
B.E/B.Tech./MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science/IT.
Experience : Minimum of 1 year.
Technical role and skills desired : Hardware management, networking and server management (Linux server and Windows server)
(ii) Technical Officer- Software/ Software Engineer B.E/B.Tech./MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science/IT.
Experience : Minimum of 1 year.
Technical role and skills desired : Web Development and management, Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and open source CMS and LMS, html, web- designing.

3.Name of the post : Regional Coordinators
No. of post : 06
Qualifications :
(i) Master’s Degree of a recognized University or an equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign University with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade (for SC/ST/disabled candidates 50% marks or its equivalent grade) .

Qualifications : At least 15 years experience of working in the field of administration/finance in a Central/State level organization or equivalent organization.

5.Name of the post : Caretaker (for only retired person)
No. of post : 01
Qualifications : A person retired from the post of Office Superintendent/Administrative officer of any Central/State level organization or equivalent organization.

Fee : The D.D. is to be made in favour of the Finance Officer, U.P. Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Allahabad payable at Allahabad.
General candidate : Rs. 400/-
OBC candidates : Rs. 300/-
SC/ST candidates : Rs. 200/-
